Mamdani ´s win is a natural progression of everything they have stood for in the past 10-15 years, fueled by TDS. It will not splinter off. The more reluctants among them will be brought into the fold.

I don't think I would call anyone who voted for a candidate (Biden then Kamala) that promoted sexual mutilation of children and invasion of our borders, moderate or old school democrat...

The moderate or old school democrats have already left the party! Some went independent and they can vote either way. Some went republicans. Some are just in limbo. But they are not hanging around waiting for the party to return to its sense.
