It is important to note that Mamdani only got a million votes, and 8 million people didn't vote at all. He is getting a lot of push back for meeting with President Trump at all, much less being so chummy with him.

Well, Mercury is still retro, so I am not taking a lot of moving forward new initiatives too seriously. A lot of new stuff being done right now will be reconsidered or declared null and void after Mercury turns direct.
