Apparently, they were using donor funds to pay the extremist groups that they had vowed to fight, and then they reported on that activity. You can’t make this stuff up! People weren’t racist enough to keep them in business. After all, their fund raising, their relevance, and their media hits depend on widespread hate, but if there isn’t enough, just pay for some.IP: Logged |

When I heard that story, I said to myself, "of course..." And then I though what would their defense be? Prolly something like, we are paying people to be informants so we can monitor these hate groups and give info to the FBI... ..................And of course, this turned out to be the defense/argument they are going by. Paid informants? They coordinated the Unite the Right Rally and flew them there! Racist postings were made under the supervision of the SPLC! And there can be no justification to pay the Klan a million bucks!
