The allergy to mammalian meat, known as alpha-gal syndrome, is most often triggered by a bite from the Lone Star tick.

The test for alpha-gal syndrome is expensive.

Meat that does not come from mammals, such as chicken and fish, could still be eaten without consequence.

I have no point of reference to your OP, Randall, because there is no link or article to it. So I have no idea what you are talking about.

Anyway as an aside, I was vegetarian and vegan for many years. It ultimately didn't work for me and my body type, but i know people for whom vegetarianism works.

I caught the story on Jesse Waters. There is a tick bite that makes people deathly ill if they eat meat for the rest of their lives. Climate alarmists want to spread this tick across the country because they believe the meat industry is warming the earth.
