MVM: mars is the planet that represents younger men. (sun= adult men saturn= old men)Your 1st represents your body/you and your immediate environment. (so they come to you) The opposition relates to the houses 1 and 7, therefore represents relationships/other people. And that it is opposite to venus, which represents attraction/ and things you attract/pull into your life (as opposed to searching out or pursuing) So you attract (venus) young men (mars) into your immediate environment (1st house) The opposition gives the venue, connecting mars to venus. Also venus conj.the desc.(from th 6th)making that opposition more so indicator of who is the "other" (in this case young men) I have saturn in the 7th (old men) IP: Logged |

Good girl...wow! That actually makes a lot of astrological sense. And yes, they are always brought to my immediate environment, so there's no seeking them out at all. Very interesting - thank you !!IP: Logged |

Good girl, I also have Mars conjunct the ascendant Are you sure your Saturn in that that 7th attracts only old dudes? Couldn't it also mean delay in marriage and seriousness in relationships in general? IP: Logged |

quote: Oooh no, Libralove, Pluto is a slave to its obsessions, you don't want to be Pluto, trust me ...take it from someone who has their Venus in it and their 7th house cusp. It's not more in control, it just needs to act like it is because deep down it doesn't feel it has any
Your Venus is in Scorpio. Your Pluto is in Libra. Pluto in Libra rules your 7th house, that's true. I took note of your birth details. You and I would have a composite Sun, Venus, and Mercury in Scorpio. IP: Logged |

Lexx, that is SO wonderful that your son's friends are into you! For me, it's often my sister and brother's friends! Several years ago my sister threw a fit when the 17 year-old boy she was seriously crushing on struck up a friendship with me and then actually asked me to prom! I was 29 at the time and just to tease her, I said, 'Well, I never did go to my prom. Here's my chance!' Oh man. She almost killed me. LOL. I get the same thing you're talking about with the guys feeling very comfortable around me too, and confiding a great deal. It makes me feel good, and needed (hmm. Very Virgo of me?) And you're right...so many of these guys are just so wonderful and sweet and extremely misunderstood (they come in all shapes and sizes for me, but what they do have in common is that they are so creative and artistic and in need of some form of emotional support) As for much older men...that's interesting. I had a few men who were pushing 70-80 and really into me from around the time I was 19 to about 23. 3 of them had been closet poets and artists and decided to start pursuing their passions late in their lives. We had wonderful friendships. It's so great to find another person who's had similar experiences And it's also reassuring IP: Logged |

I know! Apparently composite Sun in the 6th isn't great, though. My last three interests have been with older women. I don't think I go for them at the exclusion of women my age. In every case it just seems like we're mutually drawn to one another. IP: Logged |

I hear a 6th house sun isn't great but I'm never really sure exactly why. It seems like such a meh place for a composite sun though. IP: Logged |

MVM: Actually the saturn in the 7th represents "weird age gaps" in either direction. And if I go dancing, it actually is the young guys (23-25yrs) that try to hook up with me, so really I can't complain. But I'd take all the extra help I can get so...IP: Logged |

Heheh. It's always good to mention how you buy your boyfriends Playstation, video games, and how you love to cook, and want to feed them in bed. Just for starters

I don't know about attracting them in pairs, but I'm pretty sure my Venus-Uranus opposition draws me to the unusual (for me HUGE age gaps in either direction, tho I'm usually the older one) lovers, I've heard too that an 8th house Mercury can bring young lovers too (I have 8H Aries Merc & Sun).I'm also experiencing transit Uranus through my 7H Pisces, I've been enjoying steady relationships with much younger men since 2005 - long term connections, not dalliances. Then again I've been drawn to younger guys since I can remember. I suppose my natal Venus/Uranus aspect supports such relationships. I hope they don't all dry up when Uranus leaves my 7th... Merry New Year! IP: Logged |

Lexx, no kidding, that was YOU?! I loved that thread...it was so amazing and uplifting to read. Not to mention highly inspirational in many ways Thank you again Marie, I'm sure your opposition is going to keep bringing you plenty of good times, and then trend won't end...I really like oppositions. They don't get the respect they deserve - they tend to keep things spicy and interesting IP: Logged |
