But of course I cant speak for every Leo or maybe even Leo Men...

So here goes...

I really do like the challenge.. I like to sit and watch and learn.. Think of it as watching prey.. hahahha

While Im learning a few things, I will throw in lilttle hints about well how adorable I am.. (ok lol.. I know.. I know)

Im doing this to see his reaction.. Is he receptive or not...
If not... Makes me crazy... Makes me work even harder...
Now I have to get creative to get his attention... ( I secretly love it)
I have to prove to him, now how adorable I am..
If he gives me nothing at all back.. I shrug and walk away..
If he gives me a small hint of attraction.. I feel even more challenged and want even more PROVE what I great person I am..

BTW.. I am only talking about evolved, typical Leos. I am not talking about the afflicated psycho ones.

I have been married to one for 5 years. I grew up with Leos and they are wonderfully, high-maintenance people that will give you more than you think you are giving them.

For me, it is easy (as a Sag that is older). This is how it goes:

How to attract a Leo:

Just be YOU, the best YOU that YOU can be. I've met many Leos in my life, most I just passed by until Bear came into the picture. Leos demand a certain aknowlegement that I never gave until I met the ONE (the one that deserved my Sag Sun / Aries Moon attention). I was me.. in my favorite shirt, just enjoying the Superbowl game. He was the typical Leo, enjoying the game and having fun with his friends.

Then we met..Our eyes met and HE never said a word other than "hello my name is...". BUT.. he kept watching me... Like a Lion watching his Prey (oh, but I am not so much a prey animal) LOL...

Still, he said nothing. He watched and then our eyes met again, without words. I stared right back at him and he looked away (I thought I had won) but then he looked back, with a smirk on his face, a gleam in his eyes.. YET NOTHING...

Seriously, he said NOTHING... it was the 4th quarter and I knew he was interested, so I said 'So, what are you doing after this?"

That was ALL it took. He, like the typical male lion, made ME the female, do all the work. Okay, that is BS.. he was totally telling me he wanted me and how much he wanted to be with me.. with his eyes. Whatever (says the Sag).

Sooo.. we all went to a dive bar after and he got up to get us a drink. For some reason he leaned in and kissed me. Then he looked at me and said "Did I just do that?". Do I think he didn't realize what he had just done? Nope.. I knew he knew but I also knew he was surprised with how comfortable he was with me.

He was divorced (as was I) and he had sworn to never marry again after what his psycho ex did.

Still... we kissed. I was attracted but not smitten. I had a good time but I didn't hear from him after that wonderful kiss.

It took a few days later and then he sent me a text "What are you doing tonight?". I was on a date and I told him "I'm on a date and this guy sucks".

Then we started talking. I never knew he had been intimidated or was worried that someone like me would never be with someone like him (see, Leos have a hard time if they feel they can't reach a goal.. remember that in the "feed and water" stage).

We talked and laughed.. I snorted on the phone (how lame) and even though he TOTALLY noticed it, it made him laugh (and me too).

We were inseperable (still are).

So now... How to FEED your Leo.

It is NOT just with compliments. So many people think that Leos are so into themselves that they need to be praised like the King of England. They don't, but they need to be acknowledged, loved, taken care of and spoiled for who they are. They don't ask for much, but they do want to know that YOU are LOYAL. Bear and I joke about a clip from the Tudors where King Henry yells 'I AM THE KING OF ENGLAND!!!' (oh.. and although King Henry was NOT a Leo.. So, you have attracted them.. you fed them.. but HOW DO YOU KEEP THEM?

Easy, just listen to them. When a Leo is hurt, they are the Lion with the thorn in the paw. It hurts, they hurt.. they hurt deep, deep inside. They feel pain (emotional) more than most. They will act like they are OK, but they aren't. Just look in their eyes. They lose something when something strikes them to the core. They can handle so many stresses but they can't handle the following;

cheating
berating them in public
you looking like crap (unless you are home and relaxing). Really, he doesn't care as long as you take care of yourself. To me, a woman should look as good for her husband as she did when she was single and look- pregnancy is different.

Sex... he / she loves it. Bear loves it but sometimes it is not feasible. Meaning, he is deployed or in the field.

Don't forget him / her. Don't forget to love and sex up that Leo. The return (again) is almost better that what you give.

How to water the Leo..

Like a plant Leos need love, attention and Sun. They love sex, but sex without love is empty. They want to merge and be whole with someone. They want to love and provide. They want to know that while they feel YOU are the most important person in their life (and if they choose you then you are), then they are the most important person in your life.

They will do ANYTHING for you. It doesn't matter the cost, they will give their life for the people they love. BUT, if you betray their love, they will walk away and never love you again. It takes so much for them to do that. They hate turning their backs on someone they love, but they will do it. Most people think it is easy for them but it is most definitely not. They hurt, they feel so deeply. To me, being into astrology and knowing all the planets, not just the sun sign. I will say this- Leos love hard and they hurt more than most signs. They invest EVERYTHING in a person and they don't do it easily. When they do and that person hurts them, they implode.

Leos never forget the person that pulled the thorn out of their paw, or even the Sagittarius that shot them with arrows.. as long as the Archer pulled them out, had their back and apologized profusely (unless not sorry because the LEO deserved it LOL.. and the LEO apologizes).

Archea... It took me a long time to realize how not to chase a Leo away. As I said, I'm a Sag and many times my arrows are too much. I'm older now and so is my Leo. This is our second marriage. For me, Saggies need to mature- A LOT- before being with someone that is a fixed sign. I grew up around Leos and had relationships with Leo men but always took my insight into them for granted. As I got older I realized that shooting arrows is not so fun when the people you hurt no longer want to play. Leos play and have fun, but if you hurt their feelings, then you lose a great friend. When I met Bear, I was older and more mature...5 years later I am still learning, luckily for me he is patient and luckily or him, I am loyal.

LOL.. I have to laugh though because we still have our bouts. I hate being the responsible one (really... the Archer responsible????) but he deploys and goes into the field. I can handle that..but we have this thing "first one home takes care of taking out the pup / caring for the cats, gets the coffee ready..etc..." Blah.. the is usually me (Damn my Virgo rising/ Pluto in Virgo).
Still, no matter what- we love and enjoy each other to the fullest. More than anything, we listen and respect each other.

I know you will find someone that you connect with. Just never settle until you find the one.
