I don't think he's THE ONLY man to have a baby that 'old', but this is what I saw this morning on the morning show. He is 70, his wife of 3 years is much younger and she recently gave birth to their baby. You can see it is real love, so sweet!

But the opinions, emails received by morning show have said that the man is selfish, lots of snarling comments saying that he wont be alive to see the child become an adult. Firstly, he could be alive, he may live another 30 years or more for godsake, AND even if he does check off the planet, who's business is that and I'm sure the bond between the father and child would be worth it!

People are so unconscious at times.

“It’s an interesting thing. Seeing Kuan Yin relating to a flower so intently. She's not just looking at it; she's interacting with it…I’m seeing how the act of relating to a flower appears to be so simple. Yet, it takes a tremendous amount of courage to make such a “simple” act important. Now, the lotus is floating away.”

The third largest cause of death is accidents, so there's a good chance one of the parents with any child won't see the child grow up.

Well if it were not for over 70 year old men and up to 51 year old women in my family having biological children in the past;
I would not be here!
So.......
Keep it up you frisky older folks!

You do not know many older dudes!
70ish year old guys are often very eager fellows!
And yes, even up to 96 year old fellows can "get it up"
I personally know! Hee hee!

I totally agree with you!<3
On my paternal side;
My great grandmother was 51 when she gave birth to a son, my grandpa.

My other grandpa, maternal side;
had 7 kids after the age of 74.
He was over 70 and Grandma was a teenager when they got married.
I have copies of love letters of theirs.
It was a real love despite the age gap.

I don't think that people were being fair to the guy at all. Anybody can kick off at any time in there life. At least he wanted his children....there are alot of people who don't even want the children they have.

Thank you!

My reaction to uninformed remarks of;
"too old to get it up"
"too old to father children"
and of course;
"too old for sex" (women and men)

Heh heh, even without Viagra, many over 70 guys can do very well!
More than once a day?
Depends on who their "motivator(s)" are.

The highly skilled motivator can wake the "dead" so to speak

He has the right motivators!

Sounds like my grandpa!
He was about 20 in 1880 when his first son was born.
He was about 85 in 1945 when he died shortly after the birth of his last child.
He died not from old age, but from an injury which lead to gangrene and blood poisoning.
