Have you accepted yourself?

Can you face your strengths, your needs, and your biggest flaws?

Are you willing to support yourself no matter what?

Accept that others may or may not like you?

Accept that at times people will see you as ugly, bad, or unworthy?

Can you trust your own heart, your values and intentions - trust that your higher power will guide you?

If not, say why...

I feel like, due to my life experiences, I have no other choice but to do all of these things, not only to be happy, but to keep my sanity

I think you do need to accept yourself as a person with strengths and flaws.Humility is knowing who one is , good AND bad.
I think ,though, that you need to open yourself to others to speak in to your life.
If not,you will recycle the same old self defeating patterns and wonder why you get the same result.
For me, I allow a few select people to tell me what they see in me.
I ask them.
I prepare myself for hurt if it should come.
It is only my ego which is dying but it hurts terribly.
One's ego is one's problem.

I think I have accepted myself. For the longest time, I just hated myself and everything I was, but after a severe breakdown, I was kind of faced with myself afresh and learned to love and accept everything I was. There are aspects of myself I don't like, but they are as much a part of me as the parts I do like - I am what I am! I like that sometimes I can still surprise myself, whether for good or bad... like a pack of jelly babies - you're probably not going to like all the flavours, but you eat them anyway

Yep, I am totally secure with who I am. Haters are just par for the course. I'm always true to myself. FTW!

Dear Randall
I know this is a big question but how did you get there?
Step A through Z would be good

Yes and no.

I see flaws as challenges and ways to better myself. I might "accept" that as "who I am" to some degree, but I will always strive to be better. Aries rising.

Sometimes my unselfish heart can steer me the wrong way and I often attract toxic people that use me and treat me pretty badly.

My close friend s a good example. She will call me every few months and keep me on the phone for hours bombarding me with all of her problems with not so much as a "how are you? or how is your son?" leaving me depressed and stressed and then disappears from my life another few months until I guess she needs me for more unloading. This clearly isn't a friendship but because she is going through stuff I can't seem to break her loose.
I think people sense this in me then go in for the kill. I can be easily manipulated, but am becoming better with that as I think that has to do with my self esteem and self worth.

I mirror Ghani once again. I'm quite secure in myself and my value. However, I do have the ability to grow, and I'm confident in that ability, too. I've conquered smoking. I've conquered debt. Working on conquering poor posture and weight currently.

I don't know if it's my 8th house stuff, or my Virgo Moon, but I'm often in a state of purifying myself because I feel like it.

Thank you, EES!

How did I do it? Just the School of Hard Knocks. That's why I'm immortal--I don't want to have to go through all of this crap again or discard all that I've fought so hard to learn. I'm a veritable plethora of secret knowledge. Yay me.

I wouldn't have wished my life on anyone...yet, I wouldn't have wanted it any other way...it's just part of the dichotomy that is me.

Smoking and debt are prevalent in todays society and are very difficult habits to kick, I'm sure your posture and weight issues will be resolved nicely, good for you Did you use any smoking cessation products or the good ole cold turkey? I need to quit smoking my damn self
