Hmmm, men don`t have the upper masculine hand but they do have the shortest poem written about themFleas adam had`em quote: I agree that interplay between the masculine and feminine is one of the dynamics of life, I just think it's necessary to know that masculine and feminine energies exist in both genders.

PlutoSquared that is a very interesting article. "Generic sexual desire, and the desire to punch someone's lights out, are pretty much the only emotions men are supposed to experience." The only other emotion we are allowed is to cheer when our team scores a goal.. I feel it could be partly responsible for why men live shorter lives, repressed emotions are not healthy. IP: Logged |

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iSlfQ49Bq1s my favourite song.i'm lucky to be with my partner. biological differences aside, i think we should just expect people to be the way they are. =don't have expectations and let them be. a few lovely things i've heard from my partner. 1. me: "i love that pearl necklace. i want it!" him: "me too!" me: "...oh yea?" him: "yea, i used to wear my grandmother's pearls. i don't know what happened to it, i guess i lost it..." 2. me: "i love bloomers. i'm making some for myself" him: "ohhh! can you make a pair for me too?" me: "...oh yea?" him: "yea, i used to wear my grandma's old bloomers. they were red and white striped rib knit with a little lace on the bottom. they were so comfortable!" 3. me: "Oscar is really a sweet person!" him: "yea, isn't he a darling? he was in love with me... he's so sweet, i tried really hard to like him too, but it was just not possible. i guess i wasn't meant to be gay... *sigh*" mind my partner is a 47-year old, 190cm-tall ex-punk with a deep manly voice. his mind surpasses all conventional stereotypes. it doesn't even occur to him... and i have been waiting for a person just like that. it's so natural with me, that's how i always thought as a child, before becoming conditioned by the society's standards. Starfox, Probably. I can't imagine the way men are stifled... it has to be rough. IP: Logged |
