Sometimes I wish I were the kind of person who could. But I have found that I need to be attached to have sex, like I actually need to be attracted to the person. I have never actually wanted to have sex just because, and I have never found a guy sexually attractive without knowing him first...is that weird?and also another reason i wouldn't is because i would be thinking of the fact that my parents and male relatives are still alive and might find out what I do for a living. No, cause I dont seek attention, like that or anyotherway.I have a greater sense of self than that. Having said these, it is a huge industry in which, mostly men, are easily played for BIG bucks. No -- for the following reasons:1. I have as much money as I need and I will make much more throughout my career. 2. For the reason above I don't need to make money by becoming a porn star. 3. I am a problem solver. I enjoy using my brain a lot on a regular basis. I'm very cerebral.. and that much sex would bore me. 4. It can lead to health problems, unless you are very cautious.. and while I can be very cautious.. it would become tedious. 5. The thought of it doesn't turn me on much.. because I feel sexually attractive and 'watched' with clothes on, anyway. Because I'm used to this, it just feels like it's happening in the background and does not have much meaning. 6. It also feels like a waste of time and a waste of my capabilities and talents. I could put in those hours perfecting a language I speak, which would be useful in my career.
I don't want to put time into something that ultimately will get me nowhere.. in an area where I feel I can't contribute enough to other people and to the world. IP: Logged |

This reminds me of the offer I got in the 1970s to pole dance and sex for pay.
I knew girls who were making $500 and up a night.

I find the terminology of that industry funny.Any other profession you have to go to school for many years and commit yourself to reach the 'top' become a CEO or President or any sort of 'star' with a reputation in the industry. To be a 'Porn Star' is synonymous with simply taking part in the industry.
What do you do?
I'm a porn star. Would I? No. I have no qualms about the industry, I think it could be very empowering, and I would never condemn anyone for their personal choice... and there can be super tasteful films.... as well as raunchier or degrading ones... but for me?
Nope. As soon as you make anything your 'job', it takes the spontaneity and fun out of it.... it makes it something you strive for and need-instead of on a primal, emotional or physical craving level- into a 'I need to do this to pay my mortgage and contribute to my RRSPs.'

Actually you misunderstood me... I would consider it, maybe even fantasize about it. I wouldn't do it for money, it would be for the experience.

I was offered a very lucrative job as a dominatrix when i was in my 20's. I declined even though it was more money than I could have imagined at that time.The idea was funny to me but I couldn't see getting paid for something like that. To me, that sort of play should be with the person of my choice when the moment and mood was right. Not when someone else I didnt know wanted me to 'perform'.  how envious, i was trying to get a position as a dominatrix assistant years ago! a friend's friend was one, but they had a huge fight and i didn't get to get in contact with the lady.  this one wasn't meant to be for the act of sex, it was about dominating the customers. i'm most of the time not the sadistic one with my actual intimate partners, but i thought it would be really fun to do it for a job. since then i had to move from city to city country to country a lot and in the meantime lost interest... as for being a porn star, no thanks.
