i know....i make so many mistakes at work and i try to think "well, everyone makes mistakes" but a tiny voice in my head says back "but not as many as you"------------------ I once saw a sign that said "sin is death" but if "all deaths are suicide (linda goodman)" and suicide is sin, then shouldnt "death is sin" be more appropriate? when organic is used to describe food then you know we have come to a dark age in history IP: Logged |

I used to make a lot of stupid mistakes when I had real jobs. I was always my harshest critic. I guess I'm better cut out for being my own boss. ------------------ "Fall down 100 times, get up 101...this is success." --ME IP: Logged |

If you learn from them then they can be a very good thing after the fact. And what are mistakes? There are many levels of such and many types. http://oxforddictionaries.com/definition/mistake

Well you're no mistake. What you're feeling is temporary, don't let it get you down.

I don't seem to have that problem, I'm pretty forgiving of myself and others for mistakes made, and I typically have a sense of humor over it. At least usually.Instead, I have an amazing ability to spontaneously remember something vividly which can be bad. Sometimes this isn't so bad and can even be pleasant, but there are times I recall doing something that instantly fills me with shame, remorse, and self-loathing as if I'd just done it instead of merely remembering something I did as a teen over a decade ago (for example). I tell myself to let it go, I've learned from it and grew as a person, there's no point in tormenting myself over it but it just doesn't work. So in my own way I can feel like a mistake for a mistake. Luckily, it's not so common (but terrible when it does happen). IP: Logged |
