I once saw a sign that said "sin is death" but if "all deaths are suicide (linda goodman)" and suicide is sin, then shouldnt "death is sin" be more appropriate?

when organic is used to describe food then you know we have come to a dark age in history

Star Trek (all series) suggests fantasies of sex with ETs are common.

Actually, now that I think about it, sex with aliens is considered perfectly ok on ST but they (the screenwriters) usually balk at anything resembling a gay relationship in a good light (the one "lesbian kiss" on DS9 that didn't come from a villain was a very special case and can't be said to be a true lesbian kiss, IMO). But then over half the states in the USA allow cousins to marry but very few at all even allow gays to partially marry so maybe I shouldn't be surprised as that's even stranger still IMO.

aaaaah star trek....data is the absolute best

in the state of North Carolina, it is legal for first cousins to marry as long as both sets of parents werent already related (like a pair of sisters marrying a pair of brothers)

however, the cousins are not allowed to have kids together

Data is not technically an alien.
However androids are fraking hot hot hot!
Data, Andrew, Jude Law as the love bot in AI,
the Romeo unit in Circuitry man...

And Klingons are cool as are many ST aliens but not weird enough for my heavier fantasies!
Way too humanoid still those ST characters are.

LOL! True from that perspective.
And he is uber hot!

Perhaps I should have said:
non human aliens?
Data would fit that too.

Love you too my fellow Trekkie!

LOL! That is indeed weird!
Worf you would think would have gone rabid especially sexually.
Well he did in the one where they were all de-evolving.

The Naked Now wasn't scientific either. For example, how could Data be infected (or cured the same way everyone else was) when he wasn't at all biological?

But I never took Star Trek seriously as a possible future or as based in science, to me it's more myth and legend (and even religion) with a scifi paint job. That's not to say I don't sometimes enjoy it a lot. It's junk food for the mind, but sometimes nothing satisfies like junk food.
