i have standards, y'all, don't get me wrong but, omg... i'm making mental reminders to myself to spend as little a time as possible with someone in the same room as me..even if it's in the restroom! i can be friendly and talkative but apparently the restroom isn't the place people feel comfortable being social all the time so i just zip it; now, just the silence in there really makes me want to bolt out of there as fast as possible! and if i don't think things through, i may give a compliment or something and then have em look at me weird because it might've sounded as if i was coming on to them (very unlikely) but, still.. i walked OUT of the restroom the other day and right outside, i got someone's number.. it's all fine, i don't mind it for one bit and i giggle and stuff, i jk, but if i'm not conscious of it, that pluto really, really kicks in!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! & that's when things get serious.... If this is in reference to what I called Justinships in the thread that got locked then I'd like to clarify as I made a mistake. It's called "Jalex" (Justin + Alex) ship. For further clarification, it's just called "Jalex." A "ship" (short for "relationship") is a fic of 2 lovers, one male and one female, while a "slash" (which comes from "K/S" for Kirk/Spock, perhaps the first slash fanfic, and the slash between K/S giving gay romance fanfic its name) is a fic of 2 lovers of the same gender (some specify "fem slash" for lesbians, but not all do). It was late and I didn't catch the mistake and by the time I got back and caught it the thread had already been locked and I was unable to to correct it. Oh, and as for freaking over it, don't bother. I'm sure there were far more into VC Andrews when I was growing up than those into Jalex today. Its popularity (though still very much a minority, going by this I'd say maybe a thousand or so at most, and all those members and viewers aren't necessarily kids) surprised me, but as I say Disney seems to encourage it. I expect most kids into it won't even remember it in a couple of years. IP: Logged |
