I was thinking of this as I come out of a lifetime of numb(or at least since my early teens) I have been half there, you could say. My thinking was not clear about myself, most of all. It was not reality based. I thought I was "bad" as happens to people with severe abuse or any abuse, actually. Now, I am getting clearer thinking and am trying to see what is being neurotic, actually. Is it simply being distorted about life? Thanks! ------------------ Passion, Lust, Desire. Check out my journal http://www.mychristianpsychic.com/

This thread has not gotten any responses. Maybe I was not clear or maybe it is not interesting I guess I just saw how I drive myself crazy over stupid things and that I am doing it to myself.------------------ Passion, Lust, Desire. Check out my journal http://www.mychristianpsychic.com/

I actually think it's a very interesting question and I've asked myself the same one. I think it's a very elusive word to define and usually it's only defined in context. We can identify neurotic behaviour when we see it but it's hard to put into tangible terms what "neurotic" actually IS. Woody Allen's characters in his films have often been described as neurotic. I think it means having some sort of extreme quirk or phobia, perhaps a hypochondriac then would be an example of someone with neuroses?IP: Logged |

I am glad you did Aqua as I was feeling all alone out there. I think neurotic is living in some time warp where the past is still happening.I am the poster boy for this, so I know

It's such a a waste of energy. And such an easy state to slip into when other things are going wrong, if you're feeling bad about yourself, etc.IP: Logged |

Being neurotic is feeling bad within like Hannibal before he ate his victims but he didn't murder them simply because he felt bad but because he was and is mentally ill. There is a difference between feeling bad neurotic that is maladjusted and inadequate and reasoning with our wills rather than our imaginations when it comes to understanding what is being neurotic.IP: Logged |

Yesterday, I was talking to someone and looked at myself from a detached position. I have Ruler of the 6th in the 1st. Does this make one a hypocondriac ------------------ Passion, Lust, Desire. Check out my journal http://www.mychristianpsychic.com/

Depends on the sign & the rest of the chart, but they might be fond of routines & schedules in general, maybe people see them as organized or a workaholic.IP: Logged |

Thank you Lonake. Maybe this would be a plus for an earth void person. Want to hear the funniest thing. On my FB page for my website, someone was asking me about voids. I wrote I am a Eater Void. Someone commented "eater void". LOL I spelled Earth Void wrong ------------------ Passion, Lust, Desire. Check out my journal http://www.mychristianpsychic.com/

I asked this question as I am wrestling with it, obviously. I think neurotic is when you are wrestling with battles that are not really there. It is easy to see in others but not so much yourself.------------------ Passion, Lust, Desire. Check out my journal http://www.mychristianpsychic.com/
