thanks again to the remarkable Linda Goodman for yet another poem where it seems like she yanks the words and feelings from inside of you and pours them in one of her poems.this one is 'Venusian Vibrations' : Will someone please tell Hilly Elkins
who thinks those couples prancing around nude
in Oh! Calcutta!
are the last word in throbbing, sensual passion that yesterday I saw two people
sitting across from each other
in a crowded, noisy coffee shop
holding eyes and touching hearts
and knowing
how soon and how deep
but waiting
just a little while longer in case he ever wants to produce a show about sex
--not to demonize nude art (like in Oh! Calcutta!) or even porn, i guess it serves its purpose but thats not what sex is about! its much more than that, you can sleep with whomever and whenever and however but you can’t really say you've experienced passion like that couple she describes above..
you watch all those shows where casual un-involved sex is so normal and publicized as a very frequent activity, stupid shows like Friend with Benefits and other crap.. what the hell people?!
bottom line, us who wait have good reason to..

Randall this is exactly how my husband and i are as linda best describes sensual passion. We have so much passion for each other but he is upset with me as i was feeling tired and he wanted to dance but when we dance we dance like those two people are the coffee shop holding eyes and touching hearts. i love my husband with all my heart and i hope when he reads this he will understand my zany mars in aquaurius energy with his venus in scoripo and mars in capricorn. I agree with the op 100% it saddens me how people just have sex with anyone these days, im one of the oddballs of the world,especially amongst my fellow men in the fact that i just cant go through with casual sex,i have tried but i never feel right about it and end up backing out, i honestly want to get to know a woman and have trust before going to the bedroom.IP: Logged |

aquaguy, My Aqua sun bf is the same way. He says "selective", but he's very much the gentelman and too emotional to just "hook up". IP: Logged |
