"Demisexual" is also sometimes used as a synonym for some other kind of person falling under the gray-A umbrella. Demisexuality differs from gray-asexuality in that demisexuality is a specific sexual orientation in between "sexual" and "asexual", whereas "gray-A" is a highly unspecific catch-all used for anything between sexual and asexual that does not fit.

Since gray-A is everything in between sexual and asexual.. I guess I'd also be gray-A, in virtue of being demi.

They are not at all "limited".... but they are very specific.
For me the circumstances in which I desire and enjoy sex are under the Demi definition..

A demisexual is a person who does not experience sexual attraction unless they form a strong emotional connection with someone. It's more commonly seen in but by no means confined to romantic relationships.

Also - I just want to add on this thread - once again (as I'm sure I've mentioned before) --- there is absolutely NO connection between having negative views regarding sex --- AND --- being asexual (or gray-A).

I know Regardes - that you personally have fears regarding sexuality...

But this is not always the case. Many asexuals and gray-A people.. would have no fears and no issues with sex whatsoever. They simply don't feel the desire or drive to go there. This is what I am personally like.
On a moral, emotional and spiritual level.. I have never been afraid of sex or in any way negative towards sex.. or towards men.. or towards being approached by someone with romantic intentions.. or someone honking at me from his car or a construction worker yelling a random "compliment" etc
It does not phase me at all. I could care less.

Generally I have positive views towards sexuality and I think it makes many people out there very happy.. so it can be a very good thing.

I've found it ironic that many people (especially women) who frequently have sex tend to be far more judgmental than me on what kind of sex and relationships other people have.

I'm demisexual with a low sex drive but if I lived in Australia I'd be a registered member of the Australian Sex Party (in contrast, I can't find any political parties I sympathize with enough in the USA to sign up with and have refused to take the Libertarian Party seriously after their "drafting" Bob Barr as their choice of POTUS in 2008, among other reasons).

being a typical guy with a high sex drive, i think it would be nice having little or no sex drive.
