I read a little book about Tantra a few months ago...it was a little much for me (as far as their ritualistic outlines go) but the part that really intrigued me was the explanation on how breathing can make you horny and help you achieve orgasm.I tried the breathing techniques while masturbating and my oh my, it really did help! I have a problem focusing and have NEVER achieved orgasm with a sex partner. I can help myself out just fine, but with a partner it's like I'm thinking of other things or I'm too self-conscious or something... But next time I have sex, I am going to try to focus on my breathing and physical sensations. Hopefully it works. So, do any of you practice tantra or any specific breathing exercises to improve your sex life? If so - what are they and how well do they work? Any other tips on how to focus and remain centered and not all scattered while having sex?

I am not that interested in the spirituality of tantra but the hedonistic pleasure seeking aspect of it intrigues me.. http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/0062513362 IP: Logged |

I think in general has to do with excretions from your body i.e breath, sweat, spit etc. just adds to the whole experience because your body is releasing pheromones and men are releasing Androstenol and it puts your mind in a completely different state of mind. You could try adding a different scent to the room such a cinnamon, vanilla or lavender plant or candles. IP: Logged |

I have always viewed it as being multiorgasmic but ima guy and most women are. For a guy it is the sensation and euphoria of orgasm without the little death. I believe it is about connection as well and not something i can attempt on my own without telling my partner. IP: Logged |

Well, the "best" sex is when ones partner is in the same rhythm as one is, breathing and moving and shared feeling. Two hearts that beat as one for a moment so to speak. This is one of the reasons (IMO) that women usually love to dance, the rhythm of dancing is not that far off from the rhythm of love so to speak. BUT there is more to good sex then merely dancing. Smell, touch etc. IP: Logged |

Yup also cucumber and pumpkin it sounds odd but it works. But since you were on birth control for so long it will take a few weeks for your libido to come back in full force. IP: Logged |

You know what is more intimate than sex, it seems to me, anyway. Playing music with someone. It is such a profound sense of touching someone.------------------ Passion, Lust, Desire. Check out my journal http://www.mychristianpsychic.com/

I suspect playing music that a couple is into attunes internal rhythms to each other. A glance, or a smile, can literally be "felt" by the partner in such a situation without ever touching at all so to speak. When a partner is really in tune their feeling can literally "feel" what one is feeling at any given moment. IP: Logged |
