Fascinating time last evening, had a semi friend/love interest (a Pisces) who told me point blank:"I did not want to have a Scorpio child" Which of course was said after I mentioned the Scorpio in my chart. Rather odd really, and she was a dear soul but I've not run into "placement bias" before. Anyone else experience this? IP: Logged |

i knew a woman who was pregnant who was scared she was gonna have an aries moon baby... she said she was biting her nails while in labor, the baby was born with a°29 degrees pisces moon, she said she breathed a sigh of relief.IP: Logged |

I've seen a lot in Astrology 2.0. I once thought of doing an experiment in making 12 threads saying something negative about every sun sign, and maybe a few more beside on moon signs, etc, and seeing how many would quickly agree with me...I bet a lot. But I decided against it as I figured it would result in a lot of hurt feelings and those hurt might not ever realize it was just an experiment (and of course it would ruin the results to announce it was an experiment outright), and even if they did then those who responded to agree would still have been serious, so it just didn't seem worth it. Not so much that PJ, more, is this a real view, or was it kinda talking to talk? IP: Logged |

Of course, more so on forums than in daily life. There is always someone complaining about a specific moon or venus sign having xyz personality traits even when there are people with those signs telling them there false about their presumptions. Thus making me wanting to say "Now I can see why XYZ person did cheated on you" IP: Logged |

Mars, Venus, Jupiter, 8th house. Suspect she is a very very empathetic pisces and that sort of intensity frightens. When one was actually, you know, nice, the mood lightened so to speak. Odd night, one of those nights were everything worked, to the point a uhm "upper" in a lesbian couple kissed me on a scrubby cheek after a sort of real hug. Not a sexual hug per se, just gave a hug and picked her off her feet with the "pop pop pop" ( and a surprisingly girlish laugh) of a compressed back being relieved. That aside, was surprised at how the lady I was chatting with just said flatly "no Scorpios"

ugh *raiseshand* I stand by Capricorn being one of theee most detested signs in the Western wheel... People just don't get us and we don't get us, and there's so little accuracy beyond our "work" habits out in the popular media realm that whether within the community or beyond there's bound to be bias... it seems to be a matter of plain old misinformation. the real problem is that for the most part - Capricorns don't seem to care whether those judging them wrongly do so for a good reason or not. Personally, I'd rather be despised because that person has had negative long time relations with another Capricorn... at least then, you can find a way to broaden their mind on the matter, if they were keen in anyway on astrology... like explaining just cause MissSatOnHerPedastalAndNaggedAllDay was a Libra Moon, and Neptune dominant! lmao something like that... whereas when you come across someone who just goes by whatever they've read or heard on the sign is just too exasperating to reason with.... and half the time their disinterest is not going to change no matter what you say, if they let you say anything to defend yourself... I'm effected by the bias I receive... sadly, I'm water dominant.... I take it to heart and can't understand why anyone would dislike me without knowing me, or my brother, or my uncle, or my cappy brethren at large... you know.... lol Any sign... I struggle to hold my tongue in casual arguments with those who have interest in astrology, and I have to restrain myself into going through one of my long spiels (like I do here all the time, I lack brevity... so sorry! >.< Mercury dominant!) XD but, I want to educate them on the possibilities that everyone is different and that any two people even born on the same day or time will have infinite number of differences - they will experience their vibrations differently, and there are so many neat things that should be taken into consideration beyond just our sun sign, or big three... or whatever~! Right? ~exhausted~ I have an Aries son~ He was due in March but they kept pushing my induction back further because of my slow weight gain and well... they were just morons.. honestly. I had all this Pisces stuff picked out for him! XD and then he was born April 2nd.... hahaha oops! But, I was still happy!!! Children are blessings no matter what sign they are.... it's shallow to have demands on fate and yourself, and your partner --- to expect such things how you want... I'm sorry it saddens me to hear someone say it like that.... My love onion has a wacky chart, and I love all of it~ he has better chart chemistry wit his father though, tbh!!! *jealous* HAHA If I could choose a sibling for him I'd hope it was a Cancer - but I have no way to make that happen now... But, not because of preferences for me! He just loves his Cancer cousin and best friend so much that I think it would benefit him! hahaha Otherwise! Children are gifts and the best gifts are surprises!!! (okay now my Jupiter Dominant is talking I think) ask my hubby~ I made him wait to find out our son's gender to the delivery (emergency C-section -- big surprises all the way around!) I made everyone wait for me to pick his name too! haha Speaking of such things --- as biases go... if I were to do that I would have no friends whatsoever... what kind of cruel world it would be if we only associated with the signs we liked..... ? hmmm.. you know what I mean??? it's depressing... ~_~ Padre <333 I bet you'd float my boat for sure if I knew ya irl!!! haha You gots dat Sadge-Scorp prominence right!?! Is favour the opposite of holding bias??? hmmmm... If so.... I'd rather hold a sign in high favour then! umm... that's not hypocritical though, right? i wonder... haha *sillines*

i think everyone who is in the know about astrology is somewhat biased or partial towards certain signs. honestly im extremely weary of people with scorpio placements because 99% of the ones i have met have only lived of up to the negative characteristics of the sign. however one of my best friends is a scorpio, he is one of the few cool scorps i have known. You married I just seem to get along with Libras really really well. They tend to "get me", but I'm with you a child is a child is a child and gift and blessing..until you actually have to deal with them!

true dat! lol .... but don't remind me! ... he's a Sagittarius Sun Scorpio Moon even... hahaha I have crazy midpoints all over Sagittarius, and tons of Sadge/Jupiter in my chart~ I'm just sayin'- it's like a lovenfriendship-minefield when it comes to my 4h compatriots!!! And, yeah~ Scorp-Sadge - Sadge-Scorp -- kinda' does it for me. XD quote: a child is a child is a child and gift and blessing..until you actually have to deal with them
.... again, don't remind me!!! When my baby-boomin' in-laws say, "want to hold him/her" I always jump at the chance... I say, "awww, it's so nice when you can just coddle them like crazy for a lil' while then give them back"! XD My Arien Sun - Libra Moon - Leo Rising child.... he's got an attitude from hell lately~ trust me... I am dealin' with all his lovely "blessings and surprises - they just keep rollin in out of nowhere! ^^; /ohjoy lmao Libras are great~ but the ones who have Virgo influence make my hair turn prematurely grey!!! hahaha (my mother and mother-in-law, they're like astro-twins! yikes, right!) Anyway!~ good luck Padre! Happy New Year! <3 IP: Logged |

So I guess these aren't people who believe in karmic astrology or reincarnation because if they were they would believe that we are born with our predestined karmic lessons at the exact moment we are supposed to be born...IP: Logged |

I don't blame her. I have an aries moon child and to add to it, it falls in his 7th house. Fun times, I'll tell ya. Ironically, I'm 29 degree pisces moon. IP: Logged |
