ok, i have an interesting story to tell ya'll , atleast i think its interesting haha. a few days before christmas a L.L member offered to do a tarot reading for me and what she said was kind of interesting. she said i'd have several oppurtunities for relationships very soon and i'd meet one of them through work . i was kind of skeptical about it because the women where i work are kind of stuck up , plus i was kind of skeptical of tarot anyways even though i knew nothing about it. well anyways earlier this week a co-worker asked me"dusty, do you have a girlfriend?" and i said " nope" and he asked " well do you want one?" and i said" yea i've kinda been looking recently." after that we started talking about other things and i didnt even think to connect that conversation to the tarot reading. well thursday night the same co-worker i mentioned earlier randomly came up to me and asked " do you know a girl named ( insert name) ?" and i said "no, doesnt ring a bell" and he chuckled and said" well you're about to meet her!" it turns out he was setting me up with his wifes sister, we ended up meeting a few minutes later and exchanged phone numbers. we have been talking a little bit and i like her , but i have already noticed red flags, i'm gonna be careful and take things slow.IP: Logged |

AQ, caution does seem to be your MO.Do you like these ladies? That would seem the basis for at least going on dates and what have you. IP: Logged |

Suppose all I'm suggesting is go in with an open mind with no expectations positive or negative. IP: Logged |

Hopefully! So funny, my close friend's mom was an Aries and her future husband (and a Divorcee at the time that was not done) asked her out for a cheeseburger and she did what AQ is doing until her sister told her: "Goodness Joyce, it's just a cheeseburger!" They went out and had a 40 yr marriage. IP: Logged |

So you are not 16? That was back in the days of the drive through and cheeseburgers and milkshakes and holding hands meant a lot.

There always are, imo what is more important is what sort of vibe you have after you get to know them. People tend to speak in themes to allude to whatever drives them, if one hears a theme you do not like over and over again then you know not to waste your time. However, there is also spark, you'll know it when you feel it.

well its kinda funny because she is in the process of getting a divorce like padre's story. basically the guy left her and their baby 5 months ago. she pretty much admitted to me that she went a little crazy after that happened and turned into an alcoholic and druggie, she smokes weed on a regular basis too. the fact that she is a mother and does this turns me off somewhat. it seems to me that she may be somewhat codependent. also i'm somewhat concerned that she wants to use me for money since she is a single mother. Well AQ, you've seen the bad, she has been upfront with it, now what about the good? My Scorpio analytical mind sees some pitfalls, however a couple of dates never killed anyway so to speak. IP: Logged |

aquaguy; okay yeah that seems pretty grim, I guess. It sounds like she needs something more of a serious commitment, but that's just looking at it from the "baggage" she has.padre; yeah I'm in no hurry...but age restrictions! Feels like this except teen version: IP: Logged |

Hilarious!
Thing is, once one does reach that age, it is exciting, then it becomes monotonous. Next thing you know you are going to online dating sites.

Oh I get it, and if one is not careful you get sucked right back into a situation. Children are wonderful and it is tragic to see them struggle, the big ol' softy in me has to be careful not to fall into the situation you are wisely trying to avoid. IP: Logged |
