Mental health for now trumps everything else..

Let's see.. what else..

-future
-future of my career
-future of my love life
-loneliness
-extra pounds
-health
-death before I get to actually live
-first impressions
-second impressions
-bad sex
-no sex at all (you asked.. )
-not being good enough
-others not being good enough
-purpose of life
-procreation.

You got the point.

OOdette: My mum is an insane worrier and worries about absolutely everything. She has a Gemini Moon. It seems to be an air sign thing, mainly Gemini.

Same with my mom, who's a Virgo. I think worrying is generally accosted by Aphrodite, no? Taurus and Libra are not worriers, I've found, while the other four signs of the two elements, are.

I worry about raising my daughters to be bold, admirable women.
And, of course, their safety.

I also worry about my husband, how hard he is on himself.
He was traveling this week - it was my birthday on Tuesday, but it was either travel this week or during the girls' upcoming Spring Break, and I chose this week.
Well, he compressed most of a work week into Monday-Wednesday so he could get back late last night.
One day/night, he worked until 230am, got to sleep after 3, and was back up at 6am to get to work at 7am.
I'm grateful that he's back, but he always does stuff like this.
I swear he'd ram his fists into a brick wall if he thought it'd make me happy.

That's so sweet that your husband is like that, though!

Not to be dismissive about your worries...but I think it would be a nice change of pace for me to have to worry that my husband was putting himself out too much, for my sake.

I know - it's not really a "complaint", I just worry about him wearing himself out or falling asleep at the wheel.
And then he comes home and is prepping for an interview on Monday (good thoughts!), working on the chicken coop we're building, fixing some electrical issues in the house, helping with the kiddos, and then will probably want to help me take down our wallpaper.
Again, not complaining at all - I prattle on about him in posts because I think he's extraordinary - but I worry that he's too hard on himself, doesn't give himself enough down time.
And he's my beau - I gotta take care of him

Slowdown in metabolism, job security, general abandonment issues, sexual function as I get older.

Strangely, I don't worry about my parents. I think I've deluded myself into thinking they are going to live forever. Perhaps I can will it to be so.

Mel, fyi, I started one. It was getting long and I hate to be a windbag, especially with friends I havent spoken to in awhile. Expect one in a day or two. Hope all is well with you.
