My yoga teacher said something that stuck with me. Depression comes when you don't express yourself because you are too afraid, usually.
I don't mean that you don't scream and yell. I mean that you don't live from your authentic core. I stored this away and gradually starting forcing( because you need to force, for most people) myself to be authentic. It could be with anger, my inner feelings, my inner viewpoints, my love, affection, secrets etc . I have been really getting transformed by this, so I wanted to share it with you.------------------

the cure is learning to be open to sharing and to finding someone safe enough to share with, and learning to feel worthy enough to value everything about yourself.I'm sending love your way Ami Anne, you've always been such a sweetheart and I know you'll get through this. I have to agree with ami that the cure must be within yourself. But also it resides in love, whether you have a "someone" or not...love allows one to see the beautiful and gives depression no place to gain a footholdIP: Logged |
