I get along better with other Snakes, it's like spontaneous combustion :-)))I had a pretty hot thing with a Tiger, but like "tradition says" we were too distrustful of each other. Other Tiger was a reasonable kisser and ok in general, but I can't say I was amazed. Monkey - that was a bad one. No kissing or other compatibility really. Should have stayed friends or not even that. Dog- very bad kissing lol. We only hook up once. Didn't work. Big fail. So my Peach blossom should be Horse. I've never been with one. IP: Logged |

Does this work well? My Chinese sign is totally incompatible and it doesn't resonate. And I'm Chinese.IP: Logged |

The origins of Chinese Astrology are interesting (the seasons of the sun, a scientific occurrence), but I don't really resonate with my sign. I'm a metal horse. Don't get me wrong, I adore horses... But they are so docile... I also don't have much of a preference when it comes to men and their respective Chinese zodiac signs. IP: Logged |

It's like Western Astrology in the sense that it depends on where you get your information and how experienced the astrologer is. There are many typical, standardised, Aries interpretations that don't suit me either. It's the same with my Chinese sign. But now that I've read into it a lot, I've kind of developed my own interpretations (at least for those Chinese signs I've had the most interaction with) IP: Logged |

What some "astrologers" (read:scam artists) do, is copy/paste the Western interpretations into the so-called equivalent Chinese signs. If you've come across some of these websites, I wouldnt be surprised if you didn't relate to the interpretation, at all!The equivalence thing is pretty bogus... A Rabbit will never be just like a Pisces... and a Horse is not all that much like a Gemini. They are also not like the animals -per se-. For instance, there is no connotation that Chinese Pigs are "messy" people or big eaters. And horses are not like the *actual* farm horses! Each sign has its own meaning.. You need to delve deeper into it to see whether it works for you. IP: Logged |

Lol!!! But that's a bit like me saying I don't relate to Aries, because I don't see myself as a male sheep haha

I would be most interested in the "right" sources. I have a combination of: Year: Yin Water Rabbit (Wood Element) Month: Yang Wood Rat (Water Element) Day: Yin Wood Snake (Fire Element) Time: Yin Metal Snake (Fire Element) together with: Year: Yang Earth Monkey (Metal Element) Month: Yang Metal Monkey (Metal Element) Day: Yang Metal Monkey (Metal Element) Time: Yang Earth Tiger (Wood Element). Naturally, the all-masculine metal element signs are my wife and the mostly-feminine water and wood signs are mine. lol
