Hmm, was just considering what would have happened if YTA did not get those 100's and grades etc?

Tough enough to be perfect, if one is expected to be perfect then fail Lord help you. They'd persona non gratia instead of the other way around.

For myself, just got into a bad place in the 90's, made several mistakes that I learned from and corrected, now all I can do is let the process play out.

Yep. I regret meeting and trusting some ppl. I didn't like the way I changed to be someone less trusting, judgemental and cynical.

Hippichick,

I read your discussion topic with interest! Don't we all, when we get to a certain point in life, regret some things that we did in our youth! Throwing out those drawing must have been a very primal response to overwhelming times!

On a more positive note, and the Pretenders' were always a favorite band of mine in my younger and more wild days, so maybe I'm a bit biased- it must have a unique experience to get so close to such a band and to mingle in rock circles. There is always a rainbow at the end of all sad experiences, and hanging with the brother of someone dating Ray Davies and James Honeyman Scott, priceless, despite the loss.

No, even if it was a painful time. All those experiences made me a stronger person. If we don't struggle at some point in our lives then we wouldn't know to to cope when faced with bigger obsticles.

Whatever doesn't kill you makes you stronger, as the saying goes, but it's true enough!
