I know I should not hate but my insides do. I would love some examples from anyone's life who have had to deal with someone with this.

My sister is a bit like this, as is one of my best friends.

I've just given up on trying to understand or worry. I try to steer her towards more responsible decisions, but what she decides to do is her choice bottomline.

The more I try to fight her or push her in a direction, the worse it gets, and the more she closes up. Not good for either of us.

agreed, it's really ******* hard. you're either a saint for putting up with their **** , or you're a monster (aka. human) for not being able to handle being abused constantly. i'm struggling with understanding how to separate the borderline from their personality and it's super hard.

the hardest thing for me is trying to understand how to deal/interact with someone who is so incapable of empathy when that's such a fundamental part of my personality and soul i would argue. i'm such a softie...venus in pisces and all. hehehe
