The server failed, and we lost all of the posts for half the day on the 12th and all of Friday the 13th, but everything else was able to be restored from a back-up. A very small price to pay. It's good to be back! Things might be a little slow around here till word gets out, but in a few days we will be as busy as ever. It was the worst thing that can happen to a website--the failure of server hardware. Luckily, we do daily back-ups. Late Friday (early Saturday) is the weekly back-up, so there's no daily on Fridays, and if the server had waited a little longer to crash, there would have only been a few posts lost. IP: Logged |
