I live in an expensive city. It isnt the trend in Asia to move out from parents. My parents are clingy, they will cry if I move out. My family apartment is getting crowded. I want to save enough for higher studies. Vexed.

Aye I prefer to have a apartment to myself. My parents and money are the exasperating factors.

There is no better feeling than living alone. Nothing beats it. Move out..and if you can't because of economic issues, and you refuse to deal with roommates, then suck it up and continue at your parents place and save every penny.

I don't like living alone, especially since I have sleep paralysis...

I like people being around and besides I can sleep through a lot of noise.
Also silence irks me.

Yeah but I enjoy living with people I know well, like living with my best friend was the best, we use to party every night and fall asleep next to each other.

Sounds to me like you need to save up instead of move out. Living on your own has a lot more expenses than just paying rent and utilities. And be very careful about who you choose to room with as roomies can be a lot worse than parents and steal your savings, too (or at least force you spend yours because they were irresponsible knowing you'd cover them if you had to, and sometimes they'll do it over and over again). Make sure they're not the type to bring thieves over (who won't tell anyone they're thieves, of course, but typically pass for a pretty face or cool party person, and many thieves and scam artists use the cover of religion to get people to trust them as well).

If you go to college would you move out then (that is, live in a dorm)?

except rents are super crazy in your country!

I also end up living with my dad's family often as always in places where rent is ridiculous and usually they don't take monthly payments.

for now try and save every penny you can. don't worry about it, as a lot of westerners where i'm at, right now, are also living with the family simply to save money (paying rent into something you can eventually buy is something....rent just like that at stuff tht is low quality and starts at things like $27,000 USD for a studio, which wants the whole rent at once is a waste.

for now if you need to study or do things for work, just look for your nearest library and start going to it when you need to get things done, and then simply go back home, if you have your own room at least, try to make the most of it for now.

and don't touch your savings till u've saved enough to where you'd like to move out to, and then simply do it!
rents are ridiculous in some places is what people don't seem to understand, and hence why like in your case so many end up with the family. (on the other hand if the hosue is so large it doesn't matter, as there'll be days you don't see the rest of the family or can keep a distance...)

but yes save and move, even if it takes longer than you think. For now try to work with what you've got.

How can you possibly manage living away from your parents over there? There's no such thing as affordable student housing. Everything costs a lot.

You'll also have to worry about school if you're not headed to one of those govt sanctioned establishments. School overseas is terribly expensive. You'll freak out at my bill next year for one year of school over here.

Oh how much are you paying for your junior's university?

Yea housing is sky-high expensive. Have you purchased any properties back here?

I have two residential properties personally owned held in trust, and two more commercial properties inherited from my dad that I have gifted to my kids, plus one more residential property that was given directly to the kids that I don't get to fiddle with.

My junior's single year, with tuition, music lessons, sports, apartment, living expenses, healthcare costs, vacation, girlfriend, vehicle, insurance, plus dad-I-screwed-up-so-bail-me-out, is going to be in excess of 100 big ones... USD. In America, kids are not cheap.

This makes sense to me.
