I got really ripped off for less than 20 on plants. It was an online thing. They had no roots, were tiny. One was 1/4 of an inch. It was throwing the money in the toilet.

When I said i wanted a refund, she got all nasty.

If I push it, I will make an enemy and you know how crazy people can be, at this time in history, so to speak.

I said I would accept a partial refund, just to be nice which is 10 dollars, so we are talking about nothing here.

She got more and more nasty.

I don't know if I should swallow my pride or go to the mats with her.

I get upset with confrontation such that I am upset now over a small amount of money that I will spend today when I go out for lunch.

Urrrgg Any thoughts?

What the ??? Ami, this is the one time u should not be quiet.

it's your money it didn't grow on trees!! you paid expecting something, and it is not the thing u were promised, so then simply they don't get the money, as it is for the item they said this is, and not what they sent!

i think no u keep at her till she returns all ur money even if it is just a dollar (what's with the $10 only business...that may make her think u r wrong when u aren't)

so yeah keep at her, be firm but not rude, till she gives u a FULL refund! and then never deal with her again.

don't let her get away with it, coz she's nasty, it's your right to stand up for urself, and this is the type of situations where u should do it!

ok now i'm angry at this woman and i don't even know her...but that is called swindling not business what she did.

eBay has a refund policy. Explain it to them and u wil very likely get a refund if u send the plants back too

A Seller can't leave you a negative. But don't threaten to leave a negative, because that's Feedback extortion. Just file the case, and you will get a full refund.

I made my decision. I don't want the money back. It is too much of a hassle. I just spent the same amount on Chinese food for lunch

I told her to forget about the refund and I will give honest feedback about the situation and her attitude in 7 days when I am able to.

You ave to wait 7 days before you can give negative feedback.

I am at peace. I want the thing over and the hassle for that amount of money is not worth it.

Nah--for 20 dollars, I don't want to deal with her anymore. I spent 20 on Chinese and it wasn't even good.

I just had a person who wanted an e mail reading and she had all these issues, on and on and on. I tried to help her. I even said I would look at her charts which was not part of it.

After about 10 e mails back and forth, she said she wanted her money back because I didn't tell her WHEN she would be happy.

I said I don't want anyone to walk away feeling they got a bad outcome, so I did.

Then, she said she would not have done it, if she were not broke and that she appreciated me lol

Well, to me, you treat your clients right. You bend over backwards. Their business means a lot. They have a lot of people to choose from and it is an honor they chose you.

This e bay lady is plain dumb

Yeah, it changed a while ago. Sellers can't leave negatives. And yeah, that would be considered a threat under the strict Feedback extortion rules. But she sounds pretty stupid and probably doesn't know that. You don't have to fight to get a refund. You just click on "not as described," and if PayPal was used, they will even hold the funds from her. The only way she can stop the process is to agree to the refund. Otherwise, you tell your side of the story in writing, and from what you have said, you will win no doubt. You have nothing to lose by trying. But the Seller has much to lose. Not fair for Sellers who are in the right, but that's the way eBay is now.
