My Mother is alive. But she isn't completely "present". She is recovering from a serious brain injury that has (for now) taken away her ability to speak, get out of bed, participate in activities. As a family, we miss interacting with her so very much!

She makes sounds & noises but she cannot form sentences yet. I haven't heard her say "Hey Precious! How's my baby doing?!" in MONTHS. We have yet to *speak* and there's no promise that I ever will again! Do you know how much that hurts me to think about??

Mommy does squeeze my hand tightly sometimes. But she hasn't been able to *embrace* me back when I give her a a hug. Do you know how badly this sucks??

The amazing news is that she has IMPROVED. Through all this she fought!! Initially, my Mother was in a "vegetable" state, so to speak. At first, the Doctors even tried to convince us to take her off Life Support and we refused and told them to GO TO HELL.She had (2) near-death experiences and the GOOD LORD did not see fit to take her yet!! Over the last few months: Mommy can breathe on her own, she can move, she can make noise, she shows emotions, her heart has recovered! I don't take that for granted and I realize that she is a miracle!!

Her BRAIN is better but there's still more healing that must take place before she returns to normal and there's no telling how/when this will happen. There is *nothing* the Doctors can do. There is *nothing* this family can do. No -- this is between my Mom & God **ONLY** here. And I pray, trust & believe with ALL my heart that Mommy will finish her recovery and that she'll RUN down that home stretch to victory! I surely do!

My Mom has NOT had a horrible life, but she's had some hardships for sure. Is there anything that jumps out to you about this?

My Mother *forgives* people faster than ANYONE that I know!! What would show that in her chart?

What traits (positive or negative or neutral) about her do you see?

then I thought there must be something with the Aries sign, western chart doesn't particularly indicate Aries but Mars is configured it shows as follows, now I am not particularly nimble at medical astrology, but my 2 cents are that it is something about Mercury - your mom has a delicate nervous system, the planet that rules her health is Mercury and it is conjunct Sun and Mars(rules head) in Virgo that rules nerves anyway - i believe this is what is called a combust Mercury, which is not a good state of Mercury and having Mars there is probably not the best thing either but when I ran her vedic chart guess what Aries, which shows her head, rules also her 6th house which is health and we just had an eclipse along this aries/ libra axis in vedic astr so next 6 months will be pivotal and indicative of her recovery

You have not written as to how long has this been the state of your mom if its the result of a stroke or some other trauma to the brain ... it looks like damage to the nerves

Hey Ami. You totally nailed this on *both* points.

My Mother *used* to be an extrovert when she was younger. Gorgeous woman who got much attention, was carefree, gave EVERYONE the benefit of the doubt! She told me about how confident she was and how she was NEVER afraid to talk to anyone she wanted to.

But that ^^ is not the woman I know. My Mother was diagnosed with Agoraphobia (and a couple other things) when I was 3 years-old. The person that *I* know has always been INTROVERTED and fearful of crowds. I sometimes have felt like the "parent" instead of the "child" because I was so protective of her my whole life! My Mother has MUCH Sagittarius in her chart and so that "side" would sometimes come out with us, her FAMILY. But not with strangers like in her younger days!!

She gets her feelings hurt easily and she reacts badly to criticism. She's a very sweet lady with a kind spirit who *appears* to be harmless. However, my Mother has a flip side -- she can ARGUE you into your grave!! She won't stop once she gets going. The woman will come out SWINGING when pushed to a certain point. She has *tons* of staying power that many people would not expect from her. It's mind-blowing!!

I can tell that my Mom has held many things inside of her to get to this point in her life. I want to help her *release* these things and get back to who she REALLY is! And WHEN she comes to...I must speak with her about it all.

So sorry you are all going through this.

Your mother's moon is on the Sag-Cap cusp. Everyone I know born on that cusp has had a hard life..for example, my friend born then lost his firstborn son, his second son is blind and severely autistic. But there is always a very steely resilience to these people. I hope that transiting Pluto trine her sun gives her extra strength, and more than that, I'm sure all the loves and prayers she gets are helping!

I hope you will keep us posted, if you're still comfortable talking about it. Keeping you all in my thoughts.
