I am not fighting or harassing anyone. A question was asked and I shared my experience.Are you familiar with Louise Hay? Her story includes not only abuse and cruelty but poverty, workhouses and cancer too.
Amy's continued characterization of my comments as harassment is a perfect example of how our viewpoints can ruin our chances to relate to people.
I separated myself from my mother for years, but as someone who was robbed of the chance to heal wounds with my father, who died suddenly, I woukd advise anyone with ageing parents to find a way to see them differently. It works.
Personally I found that making peace with my mother healed a lot of other relationships too.
