To expand on your point, if a child is ADD, if they finally have come up with a protocol for diagnosis, is Mary Jane then preferable as a medication?

I wasn't promoting the use of marijuana. It was a simple question based on how this study gets funded by an anti-marijuana group as soon as it looks like they may finally lose the laws they want kept in place but as far as I know no such study was ever done despite more than a decade of complaints about these prescribed (and sometimes mandated) drugs and their effects on kids (and people in general) who take them. However, an organization dedicated to squashed news stories has pointed out how the drug companies have silenced the media more than once about the possible bad effects (including shooting sprees) on those who take them.

'Course many schools and parents are just happy to assign a pill and hope it works magic for their convenience (not all that different from parents I've heard of who blow pot smoke into an infant's mouth to silence his or her crying).

Then again, claiming bias, not methodology, is simply a preformed outcome one wants validated.

Not going in on you PJ, more saw this in the ultimate example of it, the run up to the Iraq War. A preformed conclusion was formed, facts bent, shaped, fitted, or made up, to fit that conclusion.

any sense of accuracy was tossed

If a "pro" MJ group released a study, the same things can be said

What are the facts of the matter? Does culture and nurture effect the outcome, not MJ itself?

the main thrust, totally agree, over medication is absolutely rampant, especially with children.

go to the Dr, get a script, feed it to kid, 3 times a day, off to work, problems solved!

I sort of see MJ the same way for some conditions, glaucoma, cancer patients who lose appetite, there are legit uses, it is more the sense of now it cures every mental and emotional issue!

Problems solved, just smoke it forever, that is no "cure"

I am super into natural health. Pot seems to be able to cure a myriad of conditions. Even in Japan with all that radiation, planting hemp would pull it up.
God's pharmacy is so amazing. If I had a condition that needed it, I would try to get it, for sure.

I didn't know that, Padre, maybe it did work, have you seen this awesome film?

Hope it works for anyone who doesn't have FB, some links from posts made there don't. It seems Wildlife and vegetation are doing very well in the man-free zone!

Oh sure, they also will have levels of radioactive compounds in them. The heavy metals that contaminated the soil are resistant to Hemp removing them.

Hemp can grow in those soils, it won't remove that particular class of waste unfortunately

I suspect things such as PCB's and petroleum based contaminants would be more successfully removed

The point it's they are thriving and breeding...fenugreek is great for regenerating wasted soil axcording to a study done in Hungary, tho i doubt it was radioactive jut was trashed. Now they have crops again.

Though i think chernobyl is more of a natural comeback that seems more hopeful than former projections. It seems the operative component is lack of humans lol

Soil is quite fertile there, the problem is the growth looks good, it is also radioactive.

When doing research on this, spirulina is also effective.

I had high hopes for Hemp to help out Chernobyl, and now N Japan..no dice sadly

Animals are procreating normal young. Maybe radioactive is less well understood than we thought?

And maybe hemp won't deactivate fallout but here are tens of studies about how it might neutralize its effects...some from government patent research looks like, others from respected medical journals.
http://www.whydontyoutrythis.com/2013/09/42-medical-studies-that-prove-cannabis-can-cure-cancer.html?m=1

I agree with you the overkill is annoying...one plant cures all!!!!- but it does have many benefits. Lot of these reports were hidden to justify the War on Drugs i recall

I've seen lots of people stoned, and while I've seen panic attacks I've never seen anything like that.

This vid did make me glad that back when I was a kid messing around with drugs that camera phones weren't around yet...especially as it would've probably encouraged people with those phones to try freaking others out.

To me, long time weed users seem to have a certain manner about them that I would not want. It is like a Cheech and Chong "Whatever" lol
