I think the only ones that I scored "high" on were schizotypal and histrionic. But to my way of thinking, my "schizotypal" tendencies are just kind of eccentric.
I'm not completely socially challenged, haha. Well...around certain types of people I can feel pretty awkward, but I find that I have my own reasons for that.

Histrionic is a little dysfunctional, I think. I'll acknowledge that much.

At least the test does reflect my Saturn in 11th, and my Venus opposite Pluto in natal (as well as my Aqua Mercury/Dsc).

But I'm actually much more prone to anxiety than I am to the two that I scored high on.

I don't think I scored "very high" on anything.

I think I got "moderate" on anxiety and OCD, ha. I can be mildly OCD about having things in the right place, but...eh...housekeeping isn't my strong point, so I don't know if I can safely fit that description.
Anxiety, yes. That definitely crops up for me still.

Yeah, that's kind of what I was thinking as well. Like, if a person's thinking is that black and white, it might suggest an imbalance from the start?

It's an odd test, for sure.
I think it would be more effective if they had one of those "on a scale of 1 to 5" options.

I do think that we all have our baggage to claim, so to speak. Most people do, anyway. That's sort of what this test represents to me. There are some things that we probably can't change about ourselves, but can learn to accept more gracefully, and learn how to deal with our "stuff".

And then there are some things that I think are learned behaviors that we can definitely change about ourselves, but that can take a while.

I took the test and here is my feedback. Firstly i wanna thank u for posting this link. Only thing is I am not happy with the way the questions were framed.
Eg. Do you have difficulty trusting people? People as in just about anyone or a loved one? What am I trusting them with? I think they could have asked us to rate it between 1 to 10. Also if I dress sexy(depending on the occassion) does it mean I'm attention seeking/being provocative? Hmmm.
I scored high on two things. Histrionic and narcissistic behaviour. I know I'm kinda attention seeking. Rest I scored low.

I guess "anxiety" wasn't listed on there. I'm really sorry, I closed the window shortly after I finished the quiz, so I'm just going by memory for what stood out for me. Maybe I was thinking that the anxiety is a part of schizotypal, and that resonated with me more?

I'll take it again and list my full results.

Okay, so I took it again. I think I got slightly different results (a "very high" on Histrionic, whereas last time I'm pretty sure it was just "high", and I got "high" on OCD, and last time I think it was "moderate").

Anyway, here's mine:

Paranoid: Moderate
Schizoid: Low
Schizotypal: High
Antisocial: Low
Borderline: Moderate
Histrionic: Very High
Narcissistic: Moderate
Avoidant: Moderate
Dependent: High
Obsessive-Compulsive: High

Or the people who scored "high" or "very high" are reluctant to broadcast it, hahaha.
I know I felt a little weird about it, like "Uh...I'm pretty sure that I don't clinically fit into any of these categories, but...okay."

We all have our baggage to claim, hahaha.
I always assume that if people don't think they need therapy, they were either raised by saints, or they're in denial.
Maybe my thinking is skewed, but it's not like we live in a society that is conducive to a stellar sense of emotional well being.

But that's just my own little odd perspective on it.

Had you said this from the beginning I wouldn't have wasted my time. Instead, you said you wanted thought and comments pertaining to the veracity of this test and how accurate we thought it was, and when I ask for things like that, and when people I'm close to ask for things like that, then yes, we do dissect it, and we would not take this test and go all Oprah about it. If others at LL want to then more power to them, but that's not what you said you wanted.

I agree. And those good ones would dismiss this test you posted as drivel.

Give her a break. Obviously, she is struggling. Give her the grace you would want.

Doux was being honest, so was I. I said what I thought of the test, not Doux. And also pointing out she should be more clear about what she wants from the start which is also not a personal attack.

If I were making a personal attack I'd have instead responded to her going "so says the ice queen" with "so says the ******* ." But I didn't return Doux's personal attack with an attack of my own, I simply pointed out why that was the factually wrong thing to say, just as Doux has done to others in this thread. And I'm pointing out the difference here so that you can know the difference, the standards should be the same for everyone rather than arbitrary based on how you feel about that person.

And if you think Doux gets to speak "candidly" like that but anyone else who speaks the same way back is making attacks then by all means close the thread because I'm not going to give Doux the same special privileges of double standards just for being one of your pets, Ami.

I am gonna close it. The test is really amazing, Doux, so start a new thread with it, if you want. The last thing someone needs when they are hurting is attacks.
