How about we start with a clean slate?
It's easy to complain/critisize which adds to the negativity, yet we need to be the change we want to see materialise and work on solutions instead of contributing to the negativity.

Lecturing about forgiveness or saying you forgive is different to actually practicing the true Essence of Forgiveness. I'm guilty of it, too.
Forgiveness means not to dwell on old grudges; it means to let go. LET GO. For your own well being and yourself without expectation from the other.

I intend to honour this. Too much has impacted on my health and mental state. It honestly isn't worth the internal suffering.

As of Now, EACH and EVERY one of you will be seen with a fresh pair of Eyes and Open Heart.

I hope many more will follow.

I'll try and keep up with you but can't promise anything...it doesn't feel like "my time" to become that noble, frankly.

And from experience I know it is not easy either. The words are said easily, but to liberate yourself, the forgiveness needs to take place in the heart.

For me, forgiveness is between God and me. Reconciliation is between myself and another person.

That is my personal standard and point of view, Charmaine, but I honor your sentiments and know they are from a sincere heart.

Understood, Ami. That is your prefered method.

Our concepts about forgiveness differs. I wouldn't expect an apology from those I forgive. For me, if there was bad blood then both parties played their role.

Maybe I should have added that I take responsibilty for my role if I caused any hurt to anyone here. But I have no conditions attached to those whom I forgive and that includes you, Ami.

I tend to not even think in terms of forgiveness, and especially not with people online. For what it's worth, that is just not a word that typically crosses my mind.

I guess I don't really think about forgiveness...because I feel like my Pisces moon compels me to do a lot of that automatically. Empathy sort of naturally implies a level forgiveness: "I sense where you were coming from."

And I don't think I have anything to forgive anyone for, not here. People just do what they do, some of it annoys the heck out of me, but I don't hold any kind of grudge. I just notice repetition of what I consider problems, and temporary cessation of those problems....hoping they might stay at bay for longer and longer periods of time.

Just musing:

In a way, forum relationships remain static by virtue of each person's ongoing, willing involvement here. You will see people again whether you like them or not, there will be lots of chances to get their attention and get along (or not.) Whereas in real life, relationships are more dynamic and may require at least "going through the motions" of forgiveness just to be able to hear from someone again, or not have them cut you off altogether.

This may be a vitual community but there are real people behind it. Real bonds/frienships form. Our experiences are different, I suppose.
