I didn't use a dating site but I agree with the strategy.
I refused to "give chances" or "benefit of the doubt", etc. None of that. I waited until my heart thumped and I knew.
It took two-ish years of being single and I did turn away a few people.

I read this book- good stuff. I can be pretty selective on who I date simply because of the time restraints I have and honestly don't want to date someone if I don't feel it will develop into something meaningful. If I see behavior I wont tolerate, I'm out and off to the hills.
