I spend a lot of time in The Personal Reading sections, constantly doing exchanges amd asking about similar questions. Why does it feel so indulgent? Im even ashamed of myself. Could it be my aura becoming unclean after so many exchanges?IP: Logged |

Karka - If you're having fun and you enjoy doing this.. there is nothing disgusting about it.Society often looks down on esoteric pursuits, like astrology... The more pragmatic 'scientifically-inclined' people of the world might tell you - you are wasting your time.
This is a very closed-minded POV though.
I mean you are helping people who need advice in 'Personal readings' - and astrological advice is very useful in interpersonal relationships, even more useful than psychological advice (imo). Why would you feel your aura is becoming unclean for this reason? We're all interacting all the time. You can't live in a bubble. Don't beat yourself up so much

Thank you Odette. My Venus/Jupiter midpoint is very active and i have natal Jup sq Venus. im indulgent in a lot of things[

Don't worry about it.
Follow your heart/gut. You're doing exchanges so it's not as if you are all take and no give. Besides, there are many angles to look at things. I came to astrology, LL, to learn about myself... Some self-discovery. I did lean a lot about astrology and about the energies at play in my chart. I gained self-awareness.
Long story short, I was able to become a better person (online doesn't count  )
In the end, it's better for everyone around me too. I think too much....
Just keep doing what you're doing. There's a reason you feel pulled that way. IP: Logged |

For a year or so, I was in PR hours a day. Doing someone's chart is really giving love and attention to a person and we all need that. I was very appreciated and it felt wonderful to me, too.
It is a blessing all around for the person who does the charts and the one for whom the chart is done. What could be wrong in that  ------------------

KarkaI was just talking about this with my father, yesterday. I got so much love back from doing charts. I am in many Astrology study groups. I can't do everyone's chart but for some people, it will hit me do their chart. It is really a wonderful, heart warming exchange between people and it teaches me more about the nature of love. If you can give love, you can always have a life filled with love. ------------------
