I've been diagnosed with borderline...am I bad? I mean every borderline person I've ever met is manipulative and angered easily. I can be a bit manipulative sometimes but not to the extreme...I'm not angered easily...am I a bad person? I'm borderline...  IP: Logged |

No, dear oneThe charts give us very hard challenges. I see the roots of everything in the charts. Some people have much harder charts than others. I have seen BPD with Dejanira conj the Moon in 95% of the cases I have seen 2nd, I have seen the Child asteroid conj Deja for childhood abuse leading to problems such as this. To me, seeing the roots in charts helps me to face my own hard things. At any rate, it is NOT your fault. No one would choose it. ------------------

For what it's worth I just looked it up and said even those with severe systems often recover to lead normal lives. I'm curious, how many borderline people have you met?  I'm not aware of having met even one. You'd be the first one OL, assuming your diagnosis is correct (and I just read it's often not, even the NIMH said such diagnosis was iffy). I could speculate on those I think may have it but if psychiatrists get it wrong often enough then the rest of us probably shouldn't be trying to guess who has it either. IP: Logged |

I don't trust diagnoses. It is lumping people in boxes, really for psych labeling purposes. It can be very destructive to people to get a label. That is my personal opinion and I have a Masters in Counseling.------------------

I have never been diagnosed, WW, but I have some serious issues. Something in my chart seems to keep me sane enough though and I think (ami ?) that it's my Pluto conj Dejanira and Child...he will only let me sink so far in the wetlands before pulling me back up. I have taken some SERIOUS abuse in my life, incl both my parents, and I must have metamorphosed myself 50 times. Funny things is, the more I changed and the stronger I become, the harder people try to put me down not realizing their attempts is just making me more powerful.I feed off of them. Being around animals, in nature and exercising has helped me tremendously although I am currently experiencing some minor anger and abandonment issues....negative humans should be completely erradicated from your life!!! And no, you are most definitely not a bad person! IP: Logged |
