This is a very brief introduction to the folklore...personally, I think it's interesting (be it paranormal or psychological), though sometimes disturbing and even depressing. http://listverse.com/2011/01/13/top-10-sex-demons/#at_pco=cod-1.0&at_si=542816a0d1fa6fc3&at_ab=per-12&at_pos=0&at_tot=8 IP: Logged |

Though this one made me laugh for the reason I emphasized at the end: quote: 52 year old Jazz singer Pamela Stonebrook claims to have regular sex with a six-foot tall reptilian alien. “My first sexual encounter with an alien was unlike any love-making I’ve experienced before,” Stonebrook claims. “It was so intense and enjoyable and, without wanting to get too graphic, he was so much larger than most men. I remember exactly how I felt when I saw him for the first time. I awoke from my sleep to find myself making love to what appeared to be a Greek god. At first I assumed it was an exceptionally lucid dream. But the sex was very intense and as I closed my eyes I was overwhelmed by how comfortable I felt with this unknown being. The next time I opened my eyes he had transformed into a reptilian entity with scaly, snake-like skin. It was then I realized I was making love to a shape-shifting alien. Sensing I was scared, the reptile whispered, ‘We’ve always been together, we love each other.’ The orgasms were intense. When I tell men about my reptilian experience, they find it difficult.”
I can see many reasons why this would bother men (especially if they're interested in a serious relationship with her), but I laugh as I imagine men reacting to her telling them not only about a lizard alien that regularly seduces her but is also better (and bigger!) in bed than him. I'm saving that story for the next time some guy sexually harasses me and won't take my refusal for an answer. I'm already thinking of names to give my reptilian lover that the guy can never outdo, and also making sure to emphasize the "s" in the lizard's name with a hiss! IP: Logged |

The alp here reminds me of a bit of "sleep paralysis" I endured (though nothing sexual about it). I "woke up" from a dream that had gotten disturbing (and I realized I was dreaming) to be face down with a demon sitting on my back with its feet pointed at my feet but with his vicious face turned toward me...it looked very much like that alp though it was pure black and looked like an oversized infant with some gargoyle features and the eyes completely black. I couldn't breathe and was scared I was going to die...I had enough lucidity to remember reading of nightmares like this and tried to comfort myself with the fact that no one has ever been known to die of such a nightmare...though I was suddenly wondering, "If some people did die then how would we know?" Though I could barely move I glared back defiantly (I wasn't fully face down) and will myself to wake up and the demon thing begone. I was tempted to break and beg at the feeling of psychic evil along with the physical suffocation but I didn't, I got angrier and decided I'd rather die than yield. And finally I woke up...I was freaked enough that I went around turning on lights and scared to go back to bed for awhile. Nevertheless I was proud of myself for staying strong when virtually everyone talks about the overpowering terror and how many resort to prayers and spells to stop it and/or save themselves...but I endured/defeated one through sheer cussed willpower! I'll have to read the article later...just wanted to say that I was talking with an acquaintance of mine a few days ago, and she mentioned the same kind of thing: sleep paralysis caused by a demon who was holding her down. She did resort to prayers and said the demon went away.I've also had regular sleep paralysis...the kind that is actually pretty common, and has no supernatural element to it. You just wake up in your sleep and can't move, you feel like you are alive but stuck in a dead body, then you fall back asleep before you know it. So I was surprised that her experience was so different. I couldn't talk or move so there was no opportunity to summon Jesus out loud. (This happened when I was younger and would have done just that, if I could have moved.) She prayed in her mind and was able to move ( I'd never been able to move out of that situation) then prayed out loud and felt the spirit leave. I didn't know what to make of her story so it's interesting that you posted this now...timely. Thanks IP: Logged |

Exactly, for a number of reasons. Do think in a sleep state one can contact or be contacted by the supernatural for usually somewhat off putting purposes, occasionally for uplifting purposes. IP: Logged |

Yes, definitely. Apparently, you can travel through the "astral realm" during sleep time which opens you up to meeting all sorts of people/things/situations. I remember once on a birthday being touched by a hand on my back (which actually felt very nice) but then being scared to death and shrugging the hand off. I was then grabbed by the wrist and dragged out of my body and bounced around the room. It lasted perhaps 3-4 seconds and then I awoke fully and just laid there in complete shock. It has never happened again, thankfully. IP: Logged |

Hey, I want an alien lover too! Actually, I've had sex dreams that made wonder if they really were just a product of my mind. A couple of times I suddenly found myself having sex with an invisible man in some room. I could feel his back with my hands. I don't think I was scared, I was rather confused. It would end quickly and the physical sensations were quite nice so I wasn't traumatized Oh, I remembered something. Once I had a different, unpleasant experience. I ended up in a bizzare place, was lying on the floor and felt something down there. After a few seconds I saw a dwarfish-goblinish creature :/ That was gross. @HappyLoewe I've never encountered any entity during my OBEs but I can believe that there are astral jerks that like to toy with us. Regarding dreams being astral journeys, it's something I take into consideration. ------------------ I'm sooo happy! I mean, cappy. IP: Logged |
