I was just thinking about a night, a couple of months after my dog died. I was in the basement, in the middle of the night, doing laundry. I suddenly heard my dog's claws/paws above, going to the top of the stairs.

I gasped, and ran to the basement door, looking up, and of course he wasn't there. I wondered if my only dog left, had scratched at the glass door, but that's in the opposite direction, and it didn't sound like that. He also loves the cold weather, and will stay out there for as long as he can.

It sounded just like Two, when he would walk to the top of the stairs, looking for us. I love and miss him so much.

I don't feel like explaining it, especially as it would require a lot of context, but I will say that I've been experiencing some disturbing synchronicity lately.

It got me worried that I might "accidentally summon the Whistling Man again." I just said this to someone a few minutes ago (who knows the details).

And here is the thread where I shared it (yes, I have shared it elsewhere, but I think I deleted it in most places when I decided it was a bad idea to share things, even anonymously). More disturbing synchronicity.

As I walked down the stairs I felt a spirit tap me on the back.

Another time I was seeing this karmic person. The attraction was obnoxious but such a regression and cringe for me. So cringe that we went to Spencer's together. I looked up and my spirit shape red stars that were in the dragon balls. And I felt a finger poking into my right shoulder a few times. Like a tapping poking motion.

Then when I sat and watched TV with him at my parents I was sitting on the floor with karmic dude. The neighbors dog sometimes leaves his tennis balls over our house. Well the ball was a little bit in front of my feet and with nothing behind it gently rolled over and touched my foot. The karmic guy was sitting a bit behind me and didn't notice it.

I actually had a really creepy experience a few nights ago. I had woken up around 3 AM because I was burning up and sweating from the thermostat being set at 74° (not my decision) during this oppressive heatwave we are having. So, I got up to go to the bathroom and splash water on my face to cool off and then got a drink of water and went back to my room and tried to lay down and go back to sleep.

As soon as I laid back down and turned off the light my tv (which is mounted on the wall on the other side of the room) turned itself on. So I turned on the light and went over to turn it off. And in doing so, I noticed that my bedroom door was open. I had shut and locked my door when I came back in. Then suddenly the room felt like the temperature had dropped by like 15 degrees or so. It got ice cold and I had that eerie feeling of being watched. So I was shook up and watched tv and scrolled the internet for awhile. Maybe an hour or an hour and a half later I decided to go back to sleep and as soon as I turned the lights and tv off, the tv turned itself on again and it was suddenly ice cold like it was before. Needless to say, I didn't sleep anymore that night.

I just saw this about why you shouldn't whistle at night in (or near) the woods, and in the comments there is a lot of lore about not whistling from around thew world. I've researched a lot of lore but never heard of this before!

This startled me because of the whistle from the woods and then the banging on the door. It made me think of my Whistling Man (though I don't recall whistling before).

(I shared a long post on the Whistling Man on the previous page of this thread.)
