There's really so very much to be Thankful for.My Family. Everyone should just take pause, and notice the everyday in that very special Light of Appreciation that we far too seldom do, in the rush of necessity. There have been a few Very Special People that have allowed me a personal view of their world that I can't Thank enough. You know who you are. Shall I just pause in a Lifetime of Silence contemplating the Gifts I have? ------------------ Love, Ellyn IP: Logged |

Last night, I was thinking that even though it seems like we're always scrimping and can't afford what we need much of the time, there are ways in which my life is an embarrassment of riches. IP: Logged |

Life, being alive, truly the greatest gift. Thankful for LL as its where I met the peanut butta' to my jelly, the thorn in my back and the absolute love of my life. Thankful for the many obstacles I've surpassed this year, they've made me a lot stronger than I thought possible for myself. Can't wait for Turkey and all of the green bean casserole I can eat!! I'm thankful for all the lessons I've learned in the past two years. Those were tough lessons which filled me with grief at some point but I know understand that these were meant to help me grow and reach my full potential. I'm very grateful for these opportunities as they made me a better, stronger, wiser and more responsible person. I've mature so much since last year and I'm now ready for the next chapter. I realized that you need to go throw pain to shed light on your own strengths and make your full potential come to the surface. This time last year, I was going through a terrible depression. I had no friends, had failed my classes and was pining on some jerk. I was still grateful for what I had in my life. A year later, I'm now a college graduate and my dreams got re-ignited. I removed some of my former insecurities and stopped pining over that person. I'm lighter and definitely more mature. I'm very grateful for this invaluable personal growth. It's by far the greatest gift one could have! Of course, I am grateful that I got to get closer to my siblings and family despite the turmoils that happened earlier this year. I used to be selfish and I now understand that no one can love you more than your immediate relatives. I'm grateful for the opportunities and abundance I've had so far and I'm very thankful for what's ahead. IP: Logged |

My family, friends both old & new, good health, our pets, and love. I'm very thankful my older girls were able to get a day off from work this Thursday (both work at hospitals) so we can all have dinner together. Aesthetically I'm thankful for coincidences, timing, and beauty. Full journals and places reserved for solitude.
