This story shows you have to STAND UP to evil. We all know what evil is. Our heart tells us. I don't like to stand up anymore than anyone else does but who will stand up if everyone waits for the next guy.

Violence is counterproductive. BUT Anger and frustration are not necessarily evil. The systematic beating down of this neighborhood, the death that was the straw on the camel's back, the shuttng down of water to poor People in the city. .who Iys standing up to that

Yes she took care of her son. She didn't want him to be the next Freddie Gray. It was not about his behaviour but the possible results. .but I guess some People are too afraid of their kids to do the same. Heroic? Just being a mom. Sometimes the same thingI know another mom who tried to stop the local cops from beating her son to death in her front yard. She was caught in the fray with a "baton" to the head and has been in a wheelchair for twelve years since. Therecwas no riot going on. .was she a hero? IP: Logged |

I hope you see that the evils of the police state in America and how it is more of a state-backed up gang rather than a force wanting to protect its citizens is more harmful than people retaliating for what they feel their rights stripped and disrespected from them..Do you think all rioting and anarchy is bad even if the state of the oppressors, or rather the authority, is hurting on their rights of people? I heard a good argument as to why the American Revolution was evil. IP: Logged |

Things are bad on a LOT of levels, Karka. However, many people see the superficial "bad", instead of the deeper bad, which makes it all the more insidious.

In this society, if you were gonna get to the evil, you would have to go to the very bottom and radiate out. At the very bottom, it is a spiritual problem, too.------------------

The deeper bad is the spirit of evil. In this particular case, there are evil forces wanting to change America from freedom to non-freedom, shall we say. In the case of Baltimore, the ruse is that cops mistreat people of color( which I am not saying never happens) but the GOAL is a national police force a la Hitler The surface issues are ruses, even if they are believable. If they were not, they could not be ruses lol ------------------
