I realize that I always say, to myself "Haste makes waste" Whenever I want to hurry, I slow down because I don't want to break something or do something that will take m oodles more time to clean up

Live for today, tomorrow will take care of itself.

Probably a few others which I can't think of right now - I have to go out.

One thing that I learnt from more buddhist teaching and Eastern ways of thinking is to be mindful in the moment. Focus on what you're doing rather than being distracted by something else. Having that kind of mindset definitely helps to prevent accidents, and is a generally good practice all round!

Here's one I thought of yesterday after I sunbathed for the first time in about a year..

"Always look towards the sun, and the shadows will fall behind you."

It sounds a bit cheesy I know. But that one sticks in my mind because when was about 8 or 9 at school at the end of the school year when everyone was collecting autographs, my form teacher wrote this in my autograph book. I thought it was pretty spiritual of her, especially as she seemed to be miserable the entire term she had us (she left because we were a naughty class I think! )

I was making Kombucha and didn't want to wash the bowl that I use for tea because it was prolly clean but I said, "Haste makes Waste"

If it had residual soap in it, my Kombucha, which takes ten days, would be ruined.

That would be a shame! lol

The main three:
-The grass is not always greener on the other side.
-Treat others the way I want to be treated.
-Walk a mile in the other person's shoes before judging another person.

Of course, I do sometimes struggle with these, but I tend to live by them for the most part.
