I generally see things clearly. I used to accept a lot, when I could see that fear was behind someone's actions. Even now, I'll occasionally soften if I think that's the case.

I will now refuse to take the blame, where it isn't warranted. That's why I chose to remain quiet, when something came to mind, the other day. I may be overly emotional at times, but I actually know what happened, and my dad witnessed some of it.

Great OP, T!

You know, time was, I'd have found it a little 'light' and 'fluffy', would have called it "pop psychology". Strange how one has to achieve certain perspectives before some things really make sense.

Cat, I'll have to check out your link tomorrow. I always like it when you stop by.

Vajra, i can relate to a lot of what you said. Probably won't write about it here, but might re-read tomorrow and see if i can add any words of wisdom.

Thank you both for sharing.

teasel, i was just expressing this to a friend earlier - i no longer take the blame when it's not deserved and as i get older, trust my intuition more. When i was younger i was quick to try and patch things up and love everybody and take all the heat, but i don't do that anymore. Don't blame being 'too emotional' or whatever else on yourself all the time. Sometimes people just really suck!

u.

Hey 7th. Isn't that one of the best parts about growing older? Sh*t really *does* start to make sense, especially in hindsight. You mellow out and become more comfortable in your own knowing.

Cheers! & i'm glad you are doing well. (yes, i know who you are now - new incarnation)

just reminded me of...

I wish i understood this fully in my 20's.

Love the pictorial quote, T. By that metric, I'd say one more sip of coffee and I'll be fully awake. And goodness gracious, have I overslept! The alarm's been going off for half the day...
