One of my top ones is reading. I just found my fave author of all time. Does anyone read Victoria Holt? She is Jean Plaidy and Phillipa Gregory, too.------------------

You set yourself up for that disappointment and you pretty much admit that. My favorite thing - listen to music. I will share it with others but mostly I love to keep it for myself so that only I hear it. For the most part I'm very private with my music and it's one of my favorite things when I'm alone.

I used to binge watch shows, too, like the Sopranos. That was so much fun!I loved Gilmore Girls, too, Teasel. You turned me onto that one. ------------------

I love walking. It brings be a sense of calm. What I usually do (I live in the city) is get off at a random metro station & just discover a new neighborhood that I have never been in. I then take a random bus & get off at a random spot. I will sometimes get lost, but I love just being in a new neighborhood to discover the people & the vibe. I eventually always find my way back, I always seem to find a metro station. The perks of living in the city.IP: Logged |

Afghans. I completed my first afghan a couple of months ago. I used a Tunsian hook. I placed 200 loops of yarn on it and ended up with a full sized afghan. I also have a collection of granny squares but not enough to create an afghan yet.
My favorite is the Tunsian afghan because it's so zen, just going across over and over. I must have made at least 50,000 stitches. I didn't count them but wish I had.
I am too nervous when my hands remain idle so I like to put my energy into activities like crocheting or bringing form to my alternate world by drawing and writing. I like to use map pencils and am working on my sci-fi project along with afghans.
