I had a friend who was an MD who killed himself recently. He was a golden child. He was a Gemini--funny, smart. He had a lot going for him but he got into a funk. To me, the shrink killed him. He started going to a shrink, who is prolly the most respected shrink around here. The shrink PUMPED him with drugs like he was a guinea pig in a lab. Mental health is hard to maintain for anyone, imo. Once shrinks start using you as a lab rat, you are through imo

In the old days, there was a grandmother, an aunt, or some wise janitor in the school. There may have been a pastor or SOMEONE for people to talk to. Now, with the extended family so far away and people so isolated, problems get much worse. I think that SW peas is a place in which people can open up and even though it is online, it is still an extended family, of sorts. It has, always, been that for me. That is why I go so crazy if people are bullied. I can't take it lol
