WHAT do those words conjure up?(I dare say far DIFFERENT than the topics in this forum.) HOW would LINDA of a different time/age have described "Sweet peas in the Rain" as a THEME? "Sweet Peas in the Rain" sounds kind of wistful..sad & sweet at the same time.. WHAT DO YOU THINK?? Are the Topics/posts here more suited to Linda Central do you think?

Yes. I think it was more meant as a safe haven for those who are suffering. (Or similar type things - worried, etc) We are the sweet peas who come here to get watered. IP: Logged |

There is a topic description for each forum, on the LL main page. The posts here are usually in line with the Sweet Peas description. When they're not, they are moved to a more appropriate forum IP: Logged |

Agree. However, I would argue that while technically that is correct when I read the description there is a feeling that it is meant in a way more inline with what I was saying. I think her intent was more personal and individualized, pertaining to someone's issues in their personal life rather than broad, open discussions. The difference between helping someone with suicidal thoughts or someone concerned about a loved one vs discussing suicide in today's society. There's not a lack of understanding of the "laws" by which we are governed on this site but what was the true intent of the astrologer/author on which this site is based. But that's what happens when things are left to a certain amount of interpretation or taken literally. I do understand both viewpoints. It is what it is. That's just my opinion. IP: Logged |

Linda believed in discussing these sensitive topics. A lot of her relating the same about her private personal life was openly revealed in Gooberz. She even laughed at herself at times, which made things better than they initially appeared. For example, when she called a suicide hotline and was put on hold. But no matter how bad things got, she was able to soar on the clouds in euphoria when in Love...and when smelling sweet peas in the rain. SPITR is a promise of better times on the other side of the darkness. IP: Logged |

Yes I agree . You described it perfectly! Oh well. I guess we are living in an age of decline, where language is increasingly being simplified, along with comprehension.. IP: Logged |
