I agree with you that Purity (spirit and love) is important in sex and love and that sex is a huge force of love and spirit and should be treated as such.

But don't infuse a religion into this topic. These religions are compromised, they have not brought light in this matter.

Again if you associate things that are pure with religion that's your own limited understanding of the higher truth that was attempted to be explained in the bible.

And if you have a problem with me saying people who lust have animal consciousness well sorry but the truth hurts.

And if you eat dead animal flesh you have animal consciousness as well.

I will not attempt to clarify my views any further. Stating facts doesn't mean I'm condescending at all.

Some people kill simply for sport/the pleasure of it ( AKA trophy hunting..) Most wild animals in nature only kill for food, or out of defense.. Most of them, once they've eaten, they will not go out of their way to kill another animal walking by, or in the distance.

But, to act as if we are better than all other animals, and that any "bad" thing we do is 'animal consciousness' really, to me, is saying that to be human is to be pure.. I don't look down on animals in anyway. That's why I don't eat them. I respect them but also know my place on earth and what Is expected of me.

Faith. You are trying to make me think that lust is a good thing and it's not. Because I know that lust is a human emotion. We are not humans we are spiritual having a human experience. I ought to find spiritual arrogance just plain funny but for whatever reason, I don't. And it's mainly because I am so in tune with how that mentality victimizes innocent people, especially children.

So athenegoddess calling children "corrupt" if they have lustful thoughts offends me not for who I was and what I did or felt, but I'm just upset on behalf of all the children who deal with these issues. Often they are stemming from a biological issue outside of their control.

It's the same as racism, or sexism, or even mocking people with an overt handicap in a wheelchair.

And for someone to couch that bigotry in spiritual terms...to say "I know that any child who lusts has been CORRUPTED and is impure..."

Tells me that the person making such a pronouncement is basically crying out for spiritual help. I mean they are kicking and screaming and begging for spiritual clarity. And it's really hard for me to just watch that. Not only because of my religious baggage but out of compassion, I want to try and set them right.

But I hear...
