I can never understand why so many people seek or desire the loud and disturbing life of fortune and fame. These things have never, and will never be appealing to me.All I want is a life focused on family, friends, and sharing compassion with others. Mainly through philosophy, writing, health activities and teaching (which is something i am going to learn in school coming soon) I want to live in a quiet environment with beautiful open fields where i can look at the beautiful sunrise and sunset. Wife, kids, a dog, a cat, a nice car to travel and get around, and a community of artists i can inspire. THATS ALL.. Nothing is more comforting than being with good friends and enjoying life. Beautiful cool evenings full of fireflies and comforting breezes. What else could anyone ask for? My friends try to tell me i have to do this, or do that to "make it". But i already feel like i made it! Im alive! What else is there for me to accomplish but to give back to others and live life to the fullest? I have my passions, what else do i need? Im 25 years old and i have been wanting these things since i was a child. I just want solitude and peace!! And of course my loved ones and to share my life with others so we may inspire each other. I can just never understand why so many people will do anything for temporary things that means NOTHING. IP: Logged |

Maybe this is due to my NN being in the 12th house.I just don't feel the need to "achieve" anything anymore. My only goal is to "give back" and be of service and inspiration to others. Help others explore their truth as we explore our greater truths together... IP: Logged |

I am also fearful of everything going on in the world. So much craziness its frightening. This was a tough weekend for me. I am trying to learn how to let this fear go.Any advice guys? Does cord-cutting work? If so, how? IP: Logged |

Different people want different things, I suppose. That's what I believe. What matters to me may not matter to others and vice versa. And most of the time that's ok. We don't all walk the same path. I do get a bit annoyed when some try to tell me what I "should" do (because I know better than them about what makes me happy, thanks). So I somewhat "get" what you mean. Funny how some imprison everyone else in the quest of liberating themselves. IP: Logged |

Sounds like you're part of the new age energy, one of abundance for planet earth and its inhabitants instead of scarcity. Unfortunately, the structures in society are still created and based on the concept of scarcity and like a ship turning, it will take time. Don't let the energy of scarcity lower your vibration but infuse your environment with the energy of abundance which is just your own beingness. Like you said, there's absolutely nothing to do or achieve for just being can suffice. Learn to be on the earth but not of it for we are spiritual beings having a human experience and our true nature is infinite beyond measure. IP: Logged |
