I am totally myself on here and on my website. I had a recent interaction in which I would not do a reading/chart for a person because I felt it was not in her best interest, even though she kept asking me.

The situation is not the point. The point is that I am very strong when it comes to doing my profession.

In real life, I have Moon sq the ASC and it is much harder for me to be that strong, face to face.

Is it that much easier to be yourself on the computer or is it just me?

It isn't, for me. Sometimes it makes it easier to communicate, because you can take your time to respond to something (unless it's something that has me so annoyed that I immediately set to scribbling an angry response ).

I was always just as shy online, as I was offline. That was why it hurt so much, when I started to trust people, only to be shunned or treated like crap by a few of them. People I'd really trusted, and thought our friendship would extend offline. It affects me offline, too - because it's still people, even though we aren't in the same room. I admitted that to Violets, a year ago (already, wow), and she was very sweet to me.

Thanks NYC

Thanks teasel

I find that if I develop skills on here like being assertive but not aggressive , that I can do it better in real life.

I don't feel that I'm any different on-line.

Yep, it definitely works both ways. I found that interacting online, and talking about things - even if I do edit afterwards - helped me to interact more offline. With people outside of my family.

It's much easier to talk on here. I'm a very shy person offline (Pisces ASC) and it takes a while for me to open up. I talk a lot more here than I do offline. You guys probably know more about me than my offline friends lol. Pretty sad when I think about it.

I think I'm pretty much the same everywhere. It gets me in trouble in law school.

I notice the exact opposite. A lot of people try to make themselves out to be cooler or tougher than they really are when they get online.
