Life has been incredibly challenging for me for a few months. Since May I've:1. Broken a bone for the first time in my life. 2. Experienced a major heartbreak. 3. Dealt with new, serious health problems. 4. Dealt with car trouble numerous times. I've been stranded on the side of the road three times that I can recall. 5. Dealt with financial problems. And in all of this, I've felt incredibly alone. They say when times are tough you find out who your friends are. Well I've discovered I don't have that many. Needless to say, I have been depressed and angry. I know it is sad, but I have felt like a victim of life. I've cursed God and asked why my life had to fall apart during my senior year of undergrad. I mean ####! How many bad things can happen to someone in such a short period of time? It's ridiculous... It might be funny if it was all in a sitcom, but this is real life happening to me. My first thought was this must be related to my Saturn Return. I am 28 after all. But I looked at my transits and Saturn is still over 10 degrees away from return. So are things going to get worse? Is this stuff totally unrelated to my Saturn return? Or does Saturn make itself known as it approaches? I hope it is the latter... The thought that things are only going to get worse and I will be dealing with nonstop adversity for the next few years makes me want to end my life.

I am also coming up on my Saturn return, and life has thrown me some hoops! Hang in there you are not alone, even if it feels like it. “This, too, shall pass.” I try not to dwell on the negative as best I can, otherwise it takes up too much room in my mind and then no room for positivity, happiness, and growth! Even in the midst of darkness there is so much to be grateful for. You are living life! Without the lows, we would not be able to appreciate the highs. So be grateful for hard times, for they are your great teachers. Lots of love, faith, and happiness to you as you navigate troubled waters... you’ve got this!!

I don't know your chart. Saturn, Pluto, Uranus, Eclipses (this Summer). They are all working their "magic". Is Pluto conjunct your Saturn? That would be part of it.Maybe if you post in the main astrology forum, people can help you there. IP: Logged |

It's a rough patch, and maybe a rough year, but it's not a rough life. This too will pass.IP: Logged |

I'd suggest posting your chart with current transits in the Personal Readings sub-forum and ask for input. Clearly you've already determined it's not merely a Saturn return (that hasn't happened yet). Life is full of challenges. That's what it's supposed to be. We need outside perspectives now and then to check our own attitudes and expectations so we aren't creating or exacerbating a pattern that actually works against our happiness. I've done it. It can happen to any of us. And you can change it. ------------------ Soul Stars Astrology by The Declinations Guy Expert birth chart rectification IP: Logged |

That's been getting a transit by Pluto for a while now. Pluto conjunct natal Saturn is a transit that transforms your life structures and sense of control over it: what you depend on for security. The objective is one of your soul from the unconscious level allowing what could not last or cannot give true strength to your life to fade and fall away, and thus open up space to create more of what will fit the bill of your life. You've got probably 3-4 years of this transit. ------------------ Soul Stars Astrology by The Declinations Guy Expert birth chart rectification IP: Logged |

My Saturn return is slowly approaching(next 1.5 year) and I’m already starting to feel the effects of everything. I was incredibly blessed in that I got to travel a total of 32 countries this year, and 4 last year, but after uprooting my life to travel, I feel intense stagnation moving back to the states. I’m not lonely but I am engaging in patterns of behaviour with a guy going round and round and I’m getting tired, and every other day I’m discovering a secret to something. I’m ready to be done IP: Logged |

My natal Saturn is at 28°. So, at this point, it is sort of like being on the shore watching a hurricane heading toward you on the horizon. But it is a category 5 and you are already holding on to a palm tree for dear life. I know that life isn't supposed to be easy, but I have Saturn conjunct Sun and North Node in the 12th. My life has never been easy. It seems like my life has consisted of one crisis after crisis after another.I know it is life and it has its ups and downs. But My God. At some point, the downs just get exhausting and it is hard not to fall into a defeated and nihilistic mindset. IP: Logged |

“Easy” life is boring I agree with what Kannon said: “It can happen to any of us. And you can change it.” Very powerful statement... you can change it! What can you learn from each crisis? NN conjuncts my Saturn as well in the 12th, along with Venus. I believe we “grow through what we go through”. You will come out stronger on the other side due to your life experiences. I like your hurricane reference. Saturn is currently transiting yours (and my) Neptune. You know the “hurricane is coming” so how can you best prepare? Just keep swimming IP: Logged |

In the meantime, I have found gratitude and humor to be great medicine. Something simple like making a list of 10 things you are grateful for... can be an instant mood booster. Sometimes it is best to laugh at these situations life seems to bring us. Or laugh at ourselves. Even if it’s a cry/laugh Wishing you a peaceful, joyful day. IP: Logged |

I know what you mean. I feel like I got a lift this year, a bit - finally - but I have tough transits still happening, and on their way. Nobody has died this year, which makes a change. Every year for the past decade, there has been some kind of death (people, pet, or both). I hope we make it without losing anyone. IP: Logged |

I hear you, AG. My ASC is at 28 degrees Capricorn. My Saturn is at 18 degrees. It is indeed like watching a Cat 5 hurricane churn off shore while hanging on to a palm tree. Saturn and Pluto are the only transits that make me feel like I'm suffering, rather than enduring. It very slowly gets better, or maybe we just learn how to stand up straight in hurricane force winds. However you view it, the storm eventually moves on. IP: Logged |

Nope. I'm dealing with hypothyroidism, so I'm exhausted all the time. I also have 19 semester hours of classes. Needless to say, life is challenging right now. IP: Logged |
