I have met a lot of people online, and it never ceases to amaze me how cold and heartless people can be towards their so-called friends online.I was talking to a Russian woman on a language exchange site for months. We talked every day. I considered her a good friend and we were planning to meet when I travel to Russia later this year. Well, she just up an deleted her profile yesterday without saying a word. Seriously, what the f*** is wrong with people? How can somebody willingly talk to someone for months and not have any genuine feeling for that person? How can someone can be so cold? Maybe it is because my chart is super fixed, but I definitely take friendship very seriously and once I become bonded to someone I don't break that bond unless they really betray me in some way. Is the callousness I've experienced common? Or do I just have bad luck? IP: Logged |

I am so sorry, I hear what you say. Do you watch Catfish? That MTV bollocks can be interesting in terms of helping you understand why some people can act in extreme cold ways. Tosh aside, I protect myself a lot but I lead no one on either. I imagine the screen helps some people being detached, it is true it adds distance, but it's no excuse to be a douche. Your heart sounds good 😊

Ohh yeah.. catfish, i should do it to some men posing as chicks online..if they're men who are closet gays I'd understand sorta..but then again I posed as a cougar for 10 minutes to a guy who was going tp his home-country for a vacation, and 10 minutes later I got so good at it that he wus gonna cancel his vacation to visit me when my "hubby" wasnt around..so I gets it I guess...tsk tsk IP: Logged |

hahahahahahahahaha xD awww you 😊 Seriously Catfish is brilliant, I too have crazy empathy for the poor gay kids who catfish as a way to cope with not being able to make a safe coming out, so heartbreaking, sometimes it's a gaping a-hole doing it to have their phone bills paid for by desperate housewives... I feel the host is probably the biggest catfish of all, he looks so fishy! lol But it's very puzzling... I think it still shows "online" in all its glory, it shows the extreme coldness and distance as well as the actual closeness there can be 😊 I once was almost made a catfish by a bloke on Twitter. We were chatting in private (my initiative, I just was tired to split every message in 6-8 tweets, lazy bint) and he became sort of flirty but didn't own to it, he was insisting on asking personal questions so I lied to get out of it, but he'd regularly come back to talk to the 'lie'. I blocked him, not before I told him why and good-bye though, I like being polite 😊

aquaguy91, did you look at your progressed chart for when this occurred? I have to say outside of America, they may have been aware of the difficulties this year would bring. Coming to America is difficult I think in 2020 and going elsewherm there are a lot of places that disallow us now. It may be in Russia too. idk. maybe that's what happened? I'm sorry you were let down. IP: Logged |
