I pray to God to give you the strength to go through it. It takes quite sometime. And you are young. Hope you learn to live with her memories, in peace. They always live in our heart though. I lost mine 15 years back and still think of her but without hurting. Besides I was comparatively elder. Do take care of yourself. I don't know if you are a believer but chanting / praying helps. I'm so sorry, aquaguy. I saw your post just now. I cannot even begin to fathom it all. I know it must be so very hard, and I hope you would get to feel your mom's presence ever so in your life. Of course it's not the same as having her around. From all that I've learned, she'll always be with you, sharing your life, maybe even trying to reach out to you at certain moments. I wish you to heal from this deep wound, even if a pain remains where you feel her love.Edit: just saw your message in the previous page that you're feeling better now. Aquaguy - I'm really sorry brother. I haven't logged on here in a couple years. Just wanted to check in and I was crushed to read what you're going thru. Nothing quite as hard as losing your mom. I hope you can stay strong and get thru this. Apparently, you have some wonderful support from folks on here that I'm sure wish nothing but the best for you. I don't often see eye-to-eye with my dad on things. But, growing up as a buddhist, he told me something that I'll always remember and pull out of my back pocket: "When a loved one passes on, they return to the earth and will be everywhere.
